'Vanderpump Rules' Star Scheana Shay Explains Why She Couldn't Hook Up With Shep Rose At Jax Taylor's Wedding

Scheana Shay planned to hook up with Shep Rose at the June 2019 wedding of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright but according to her latest interview on the "Vanderpump Rules: After Show," the encounter never happened because the "Southern Charm" cast member was too intoxicated for Scheana's liking.

While talking to producers, Scheana first revealed that a number of Bravolebrities have been known to hang out.

“'Summer House,' 'Southern Charm,' and 'Vanderpump Rules' all kind of like, cross at times because we’re all genuinely friends,” Scheana explained.

When asked point-blank about her time with Shep at Jax and Brittany's wedding, Scheana confirmed that they did not hook up before noting that they had hooked up previously one year prior.

“We hooked up a year before that, never had sex, did not sleep together. He’s not the best at rounding all the bases because he’s usually.. by the time he’s his second, going around to third base, he’s usually too drunk to remember what he’s doing," Scheana recalled with a laugh.

According to Scheana, Shep attempted to hook up with her during their time together in Kentucky but it didn't work out.

"So at the wedding, it was like a bunt to first and the start of a drunken make-out and I was like, ‘I can’t. I can’t do it.’ It was so sloppy," she explained.

That said, she loves Shep and believes he's a real sweetheart.

"We have so much fun together. He’s honestly one of the funniest people I’ve ever met in my life," she admitted.

While Scheana, who is currently dating Brock Davies, enjoys Shep's company, she said he wouldn't make the best dating companion.

"We had fun together but to try and make-out drunk and sloppy… The guy was walking into oncoming traffic in Lexington. We all went out and he was so drunk he was walking into oncoming traffic. And I was like, ‘I can’t. No amount of alcohol is going to make this okay tonight,'" she recalled of their wild night out with Scheana's co-stars.

"And the next day at the wedding, I was like ‘Hello Shep. I’m going to go to the groomsmen over here. He seems a bit more sober,'" Scheana continued.

Scheana then poked fun at her own on-camera persona.

"You know, 'boy-crazy Scheana' had to get some that night," she said.

The "Secrets Revealed" episode of "Vanderpump Rules" season eight is set to air next Tuesday night, May 26, and will be followed by the three-part reunion special, which begins airing the following week.
