'Southern Charm' Star Kathryn Dennis Goes MIA After Promising To Explain Alleged Racist Message

“Southern Charm” star Kathryn Dennis has gone radio silent days after saying she would explain everything related to her sending an alleged racist message.
As The Blast previously reported, the whole situation started after a black radio host, Mika Gadsen, leaked direct messages sent to her by Kathryn.
The two had been arguing over a planned “Trump Boat Parade” where Kathryn said she wasn’t racist for supporting President Trump. In the messages, Kathryn decided it was proper to send a monkey emoji to to Mika.
Mika released the messages telling her followers, “This is what happens when a Black woman in #Charleston speaks up against white supremacy.” Kathryn tweet a semi-apology, “I want to acknowledge that using a monkey emoji in my text was offensive, and from the bottom of my heart I sincerely apologize to anyone and everyone I hurt. Although the context was not my intention, there are no “if ands or buts” that excuse me. I did not give it thought, and it was and is wrong. I know I am not that person. I know and will do better”
Many have called BS on her apology saying she knew exactly what she was sending. Fans have been demanding she be removed from the Bravo show. In the days since the messages leaked, Kathryn has been accused of spreading false rumors about her costar, Cameran Eubanks and her husband.

Last week, Kathryn tried to clear up things writing, “I’m freakin heartbroken and SO depressed because the way I’m being portrayed is totally not true!!!” The reality star claimed to always use the monkey emoji and didn’t know who she was talking to during the fight.
She said, “I use that emoji all the time bc it looks silly and awkward and that’s my baseline. The account was anonymous I didn’t even know who I was messaging??? And now I’ve been labeled all this crazy stuff and it’s just not true. And it’s not fair. And I see now that I’m back on IG that some**** people are thrilled to use this situation to come up on their own. Use for their own benefit.”
Kathryn promised, “But I’m not gonna let that happen. Never have never will. I’m making a full statement tomorrow but I had to respond bc I cannot stand my character being annihilated. Please just be patient and know this shit is just not true.”
However, days have passed since she said she would clear things up without a word.
