Who Is Jesse McCartney’s Fiancé?

Last night, Jesse McCartney shocked the world on the finale of “The Masked Singer" when he revealed himself to be the turtle.

The singer took second place and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Kandi Burruss took home first.

McCartney, 33, rose to fame in the 1990s after appearing on the daytime drama "All My Children" before joining the boy band, Dream Street.

But the singer hasn’t been in the public eye recently, which is one of the reasons why he decided to do the reality show.

“I'm not sure a lot of people know what I am capable of. Maybe they'll listen to some of my earlier music and that's kind of where it ended for them. So this was an opportunity for me to pick back up,” he toldPeople.

He continued, "I had seen a couple of his [T-Pain] episodes and thought it was such a bizarre thing. But I saw what he was able to do for himself on that show because I think T-Pain he had a lot to prove in terms of his vocal ability. When I saw what he was able to do I thought, this is a platform I can use to show my vocal capabilities."

While McCartney didn’t win, his “un-masking” sent the internet into a frenzy. And now, fans are curious about what he’s been up to.

It might shock you to learn, the “Beautiful Soul” singer is getting married to Katie Peterson.

On September 14, McCartney shared the news on Instagram. He posted a photo of him and Peterson kissing with the caption, “Locked it up” where Peterson’s engagement ring was clearly visible.

Peterson shared a similar photo with the caption, “SE?EN YEARS.. and also forever.”

McCartney reportedly proposed to the blonde beauty at a restaurant in Los Angeles.

A source toldPeople, “The couple was with a group of friends as McCartney got down on one knee. The whole restaurant fell silent as he asked her to marry him and went into loud applause and cheered when she said yes!”

“Chef Wolfgang Puck himself was also at the restaurant making his rounds when it happened. The couple celebrated with drinks as the night went on," the source added.

According to her Instagram bio, Peterson is an actress and creator of the lifestyle site, “The Rebel Blonde.”

Around 2013, McCartney went on a hiatus until 2018 when he released the single, “Better With You,” which appeared on his “Resolution” album.

That same year, he went on a “Resolution Tour Live.”

Besides that, and “The Masked Singer,” McCartney has kept a low-profile in recent years.

But his time on the show didn’t go to waste.

After last night’s finale, several fans took to social media to announce their outrage over McCartney NOT being crowned the winner.

So maybe a new album is in the singer's future. We'll see!
