Adele is officially a Las Vegas ICON!
The British singer debuted her highly anticipated “Weekends with Adele” residency on November 18th, to massive fanfare.
It was a very emotional debut and Adele could not hold back her tears.

She took the stage on Friday telling the audience, “I’m so nervous and I’m so scared and I’m so happy... It might be a bit wobbly at times because my nerves are out of control … It’s a bloody massive week for me this week. It’s the ‘Walking Dead’ finale on Sunday! Thank you so much for coming back to me... It looks just like I imagined it would.”

Adele said “coming back to me,” because her residency was originally scheduled to debut in January; however, she canceled it less than 24-hours before showtime.

The songstress admitted the show was not what she imagined and not up to her standards.
This caused massive drama and heartbreak among her fanbase. Many traveled from overseas to Las Vegas to see their queen and were met with Adele being a “no-show.”
Adele and her team spent 10 months reworking the show and did a complete overhaul.
Clearly, it paid off.
However, since taking the stage at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace Adele has faced a new set of Vegas drama.
According to reports, Adele is not staying at Caesar’s Palace during her four-month residency.
She’s staying at The Wynn due to a disagreement over suite availability at Caesar’s.

Sources told The U.S. Sun that the suite Adele was offered was not as good as many of the suites offered to other “high rollers.”
“It’s a snub in many ways but she’s a superstar who can kind of do whatever she wants,” one source said.
So, Adele took herself and her entourage to The Wynn where it’s rumored she will stay in a private villa.
On Sunday, Adele announced she would be adding two new dates to her residency on December 30th and 31st.

Adele shared the exciting news to her Instagram writing, “New Years Eve has always been a let down for me, I seem to always end up spending it in a car on my way to or from somewhere! But not this year!! I’ll be ringing 2023 in on stage!! I dress up to the nines on NYE and I would love it if those of you that come would too! Let’s go all out black tie vibes ♥️.”

As you can imagine, her fans went absolutely wild over the news.
“OMG HOPING I CAN GO,” one person wrote.
“This is going to be epic,” another commented on the post.
One Adele fan replied, “2023 is about to be GOOOOOD 😌🙌🏻.”
Prior to taking the stage last week, Adele shared a BTS look at her show and gave candid note about how she was feeling.
“I’m feeling all sorts as I write this. I’m highly emotional, incredibly nervous but can’t sit still because I’m so excited. I feel a million miles away from home, I can’t stop thinking about when I was little and saw Tom Jones in Mars Attacks and thought blimey how did he get from Wales to Las Vegas!? I always get scared before shows, and I take it as a good sign because it means I care and means I just want to do a good job,” she wrote.
