Amber Heard Admits to 'Love Affair' During Quarantine

Amber Heard has discovered a comforting new relationship in her life, and is giving fans some insight into how she's been finding peace amid the turmoil she's been facing during the global pandemic.

The "Aquaman" star took to Instagram on Wednesday while whipping up dinner in her kitchen.

"The love affair with my cast iron skillet continues.." Heard captioned her photo. Looking at the photo, it appears her skillet contained some shrimp and cilantro ... it's unclear if she paired it with any pasta.

Heard looked to be finding solace in the kitchen as a smile could be seen across her face while preparing the meal. The star also wore a khaki apron and had her hair tired back while at work.

As if preemptively expecting hate thrown from the fans of her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, Heard also turned off the ability for fans to leave comments on her Instagram post. It's a move that she's used in the past, as Heard has made it clear she doesn't tolerate cyberbullying or harassment.

Amber Heard has been cooking up a storm during the quarantine and posting her growing skills on Instagram.

She recently attempted bread and took a photo of herself after scoring a loaf she had made from scratch.

"Expanding on my kitchen skills. First loaf of homemade bread to continue expanding on my waistline as well," she wrote.

Heard also claimed that she was becoming "domesticated as hell" while proudly tending to another delicious-looking meal she had cooked up in her trusty cast-iron skillet.

Amber Heard has had a rough time during quarantine, as she not only has been dealing with the ongoing drama with Johnny Depp, but also coping with the death of her mother, Paige Heard.

"I am heartbroken and devastated beyond belief at the loss of my mom, Paige Heard. She left us too early, clasping onto the memory of her beautiful, gentle soul. She will be missed from the very depths of our hearts forever," Heard wrote in a tribute to her mother earlier this month.

After the death of her mother, Heard shared a photo of herself and sister Whitney comforting each other while cooking a meal together. Immersing herself in cooking has seemed to be a positive outlet for Heard during the mourning period.
