Blac Chyna is pleading with the court to stop her ex Rob Kardashian’s attempts to get his hands on her financial records.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Chyna filed a motion to quash a subpoena sent by Rob to her bank.
Chyna is currently suing her ex Rob along with Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. She accuses the family members of working together to get her reality show “Rob & Chyna” cancelled. In the lawsuit, Chyna says the Kardashians spread lies about her in an effort to get producers to cancel it.
The Kardashians deny all allegations of wrongdoing and are demanding the case be thrown out. They argue the show was cancelled because Rob & Chyna were having issues. Rob & his family don’t believe Cyna’s claim she lost out on millions.
Rob thinks Chyna actually saw an increase in business from the situation. He is currently trying to get his hands on her bank records in the legal battle. Rob fired off subpoenas to City National Bank, where Chyna has several bank accounts. They believe the records will show that Chyna’s financial situation is just fine.
Rob noted, “It should be uncontroversial for a plaintiff engaged in business dispute litigation, such as in the instant action, to turn over bank records during the course of discovery to support damages claims. Instead, Chyna has put up a fight at every turn.
Chyna is now objecting to him being able to access her financial statements and demanding the subpoenas be quashed.
In newly filed court documents, Chyna says she already turned over 12,000 documents “evidencing her payments for Rob & Chyna on the E1 network and “The Real Blac Chyna” on The Zeus Network, her payments for personal appearances and her payments for certain endorsements.
She states, “This case involves claims for defamation and intentional interference with contract or prospective economic advantage. This is not a case involving an accounting or any other in- depth forensic accounting issues. Nonetheless, Plaintiff has already produced her corporate tax returns, corporate P&L statements, and corporate paystubs and contracts evidencing payments for TV and personal appearances.
Chyna has had it writing, “There simply is no basis in the law to allow Defendants unfettered access to Plaintiff’s corporate and personal bank accounts at City National Bank. This is especially true when these same Defendants are waging a baseless war against Chyna in the Family Law court to take custody away of her precious daughter Dream and in Defendant Rob Kardashian’s baseless lawsuit against Chyna for assault and battery (a lawsuit which Kylie Jenner dropped out of after abusing the legal process to spread horrible lies about Chyna being a “violent” person). Enough is enough.”
She is asking the court to not allow the Kardashians to see all her records. The court has yet to rule.
As The Blast previously reported, Chyna and Rob are still battling it out over custody of their daughter Dream.
