Rapper Future has some competition for his “twin” son’s affection because Russell Wilson came in hot with a sweet tribute to Little Future on his sixth birthday. Taking to his Instagram on Tuesday, May 19, the NFL star called himself the child’s “daddy,” despite the “High Off Life” rapper being his biological dad. The backstory is kind of messy. Rapper Future welcomed Little Future in 2014 with his then-fiancée Ciara. In 2016, she married the Seahawks quarterback. Together, they share one child of their own, take care of her son with the rapper, and have another baby on the way.
Getting deep with his birthday message, Russell Wilson poured his heart out. Posting a video showing the two of them racing while underwater in the pool, the NFL star captioned the sweet clip by calling Little Future his “daily inspiration” and “my best friend.” Stating that the six-year-old is “full of Love, Joy, and Grace,” Wilson continued, “I thank Jesus every day for who you are & being able to lead & guide you.”
“Your future is forever endless and I pray you swim into every opportunity and obstacle in life with this much Love and Enthusiasm. Happy 6th Birthday Future!” he added before dropping the hammer. “Daddy loves you! ????❤️.”
Don’t worry because Future posted his own birthday message to his son. Taking to his Twitter account, the rapper kept it short and simple. “Happy Birthday FUTURE. Love you FOREVER twin,” he wrote. The rapper has been critiqued in the past for not appearing to spend much time with his son, but in all fairness, he has a tribe to juggle.
Recently, he found out that he needs to add a child to his Christmas list after a DNA test proved he’s the daddy of Eliza Reign‘s one-year-old daughter. As The Blast reported, Eliza Reign was finally vindicated after Future was discovered to be the father of her daughter, Reign. A DNA test proved he was the biological dad and it was uncovered in the ongoing legal battle between the two, reported The Shade Room. In 2019, Eliza sued Future for paternity, child support, and custody of her daughter. Following the DNA results, Future’s girlfriend, Lori Harvey, showed her support to the star by promoting his new album, “High On Life,” proving she’s cool about his ongoing legal battle with his latest baby mama over money.
