Have You Wondered Who The Voice Of TikTok Is? Meet Kat!

If you're a TikTok lover and have spent any amount of time on the app scrolling away, you've most definitely heard Kat Callaghan's voice. According to her TikTok account bio, she's the "voice of TikTok text to speech, radio girl and voiceover artist." In other words, she's the one who sometimes screws up pronouncing some of the things you write on your videos.

The first video Callaghan shared on TikTok was revealing that she is in fact the voice we all know and love. The video was shared just one month ago and has received more than 47 million views and 20,000 comments. Her video was captioned, "For a long time I didn’t say a word. But … yes it’s me and yes I have an ongoing awesome relationship with the folks at TikTok. ? The coolest part for me is watching the creativity & awesome content that people are putting out there using my voice. (Also oddly enough this is my first TikTok)"

Former NBA player and current sports analyst Richard Jefferson left a comment for the well-known voice behind the videos saying, "I've made you say some crazyyyyyyy things ???." She responded, "Ooohh I know." Jake from State Farm added, "???" Another follower wrote, "The things we’ve made you say…?," to which Callaghan replied, "You’re all naughty af," and then added a second comment saying, "I’ve seen it and I’m taking notes on y’all ?"

One follower was shocked to find out that it's a real person behind the voice writing, "I had no idea it was a real voice ?." Callaghan replied, "Myself Siri and Alexa too. ?" Many followers thought maybe she was lying about being the voice of TikTok, but some came to her defense. One follower said, "This is Kat Callaghan - she has been on radio for over 10 years. I don't think she has a reason to lie," and another added, "Kat Callaghan = TikTok legend. ?️"

In a follow-up video, Callaghan answers a few frequently asked questions, addressing her radio listeners who had been asking if she's the voice of TikTok, and the question of if she's lying about being the voice. She then uses her TikTok voice to introduce herself to the non-believers.

One follower pointed out, "Imagine her scrolling thru tiktok and just hearing her own voice over and over," to which she replied, "Tell me about it."

Callaghan shared a few videos explaining why she pronounces specific words such as LOL, emoji, and Kardashian wrong. She also posted a video explaining that if you want her to say "yeah" just type out "yeah." But if you want her to "die a little bit on the inside," type out "yeaaaaaaa."
