Ollie loves his Halloween pumpkin so much that he takes it everywhere. His owner is getting concerned about how he's going to react when the pumpkin is no more, so they are trying to find a way to ease him into the unfortunate situation.

In a new video shared on TikTok, viewers get to witness the "pumpkin saga" continuing three weeks after the sweet pup picked out his new best friend from the pumpkin patch. The love this doggo has for his "emotional support pumpkin" can clearly be seen in the clip.

Ollie's humans refrigerate the pumpkin overnight in an effort to preserve it for as long as possible, and Ollie enthusiastically collects it in its basket every morning. The happy pup carries the basket with the pumpkin everywhere he goes. "But he knows something is wrong," words over the video read.

The pumpkin is getting "squishy" so Ollie's human bought a stuffed pumpkin to try to ease the sadness when the pumpkin is no longer around. They are even trying to get the scent from the real pumpkin onto the stuffed pumpkin. "We will try to keep the original one a little longer," the video reads. While they haven't swapped out the real pumpkin for the fake stuffed one yet, it appears that's the plan in the near future.
