Pregnant Brittany Mahomes Bonds With Daughter Sterling In The Most Unlikely Place

Brittany Mahomes and her daughter Sterling seem to have found a way to forge a stronger connection with each other.

The star, who is married to star quarterback Patrick Mahomes shares a daughter with a second child, a boy on the way with him. Being into fitness herself, it is no surprise the duo found themselves spending some quality time while working out.

The athlete posted a cute picture of them with her in a red shirt and black bottoms as she sat on a piece of exercise equipment, holding her tiny tot, who was dressed in a white shirt and colored leggings with some white sneakers. In the caption, she wrote:

"Was a gym day with my girl [red heart emoji]." 

The expectant mother is definitely excited about making her a big sister. Still, she understands the need to spend as much time with her as possible before her attention gets to be divided.

Still, the firstborn is usually special because they are the learning ground for new parents, and the entrepreneur said as much when she penned a sweet tribute to her baby girl. The Blast shared that Brittany shared all the things she learned from her daughter since birthing her. 

She posted a slew of pictures of herself with the one-year-old during the recent baby shower celebration. Alongside the images was a caption that read, "As we embark on the last several weeks of this baby girl being my only child, I can only think of how thankful I am to be her mama!"

The 27-year-old noted that Sterling taught her a lot about life, like "peace, patience, to be present," and genuinely spending time on what matters. Calling her "my girl" and "my everything," she declared that she would never take life with her for granted. 

Ending the touching message, she wrote, "I can not wait for you to be the best big sister but also soak in every last second with just you, star girl." In the pictures, the Texas native, donned a long-sleeved white dress, could be seen carrying Sterling close to her chest as she kissed her cheeks. 

The next photo showed her legs and hands holding Sterling's hand, who was dressed in a white blouse underneath a nude-colored knitted dungaree with "big sister" written on it, as she looked up at the camera.

She paired the outfit with white sneakers and ruffled socks as a slide to the left revealed the star squatting as she held on to her baby's hand on her bump. Sterling was shown in the following slide touching some balloons from the decoration with her mother's form blurred in the background.

She also proved to be a mummy's girl as she was seen hugging the fitness instructor, who decided to take a break from standing as she sat on a chair. The little tot held on to a smaller white balloon keeping herself busy while looking at the camera. In the final picture, she finally got to play by crawling through a circular nude toy with a happy expression on her face. 

As the due date of her baby boy got closer, Brittany took to reminiscing about her first pregnancy and how completely different it was from the current. The Blast shared that she posted a collage picture of what her tummy looked like and how it looked now. 

Now while two births cannot be the same, the difference was evident in the picture as her present bump was more prominent than the previous. In the first snap tagged "Baby boy," she stood sideways in front of the mirror dressed in an orange-colored workout bra and leggings. 

In the following image, which was a throwback to her first pregnancy, she cradled her belly wearing a lilac hoodie which she pulled up to show a much smaller bump. Like she did with the first picture, Brittany wrote "Baby Girl," as she noted the difference in the sizes with the words, "Not even close."
