Larsa Pippen's latest Instagram post went a little awry when her harmless caption inspired some comments about her ex, Scottie Pippen. Those comments seemed to strike a nerve and she unloaded on the trolls with the NBA legend catching a little shrapnel.

The influencer shared a stunning selfie on Thursday and tried to send out some positive energy to her millions of fans. Things took an ugly turn when some people brought Scottie's name up. Larsa and the basketball star are totally separated but they are still working on their everlasting divorce.

The 45-year-old model is usually spot on with her playful captions and uplifting messages but they can't all be winners.

"Find someone who’ll put u first!! ?," Larsa wrote in the caption of her selfie.

Pretty cute and harmless right? Well, we don't know if she could of predicted how people would interpret that.

"That's what scottie did smh," a troll said, "he was loyal to you no? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you do adultery first?"

That remark prompted a digital outburst from the star.

"stop tripping dude u don’t know what you’re talking about. I held him down and still do. Just bc I don’t air his dirty laundry doesn’t mean it doesn’t stink I just don’t wanna do his laundry anymore," Larsa quickly replied.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Scottie filed his declaration of disclosure in a Los Angeles court back in December, which basically is a fancy way to say that they are close to settling up.

What was interesting, and probably why the split is taking so long, is that Scottie challenged the date of separation that Larsa filed in official documents. Scottie said the date of separation as "TBD," however he did agree with his estranged wife about sharing joint physical and legal custody of their three minor children.

The argument over when the two broke up could have huge ramifications, considering the couple's financial split could depend on and business deals that were made around the same time.

Larsa's posts sometimes become the hotbed for basketball fans arguing about the importance of Scottie to Michael Jordan's career. All the hype surrounding the ESPN docuseries, "The Last Dance" and the visceral reaction from fans persuaded her to stand up for her ex last month.

All the hubbub had to deal with the opinion that Pippen was underpaid for his time with the Chicago Bulls. She defended him by tweeting out a picture of his earning and said, "Thx for your concern Scottie did ok #TheLastDance."

Earlier this month, she confessed that she wants to get married again despite not being fully divorced. The influencer was playing a game with her followers where she answered all their questions. Most of them were pretty tame like 'How do you get abs?' but one bold fan went straight for the juicy question.

"Do you want to get married again?" the fan asked before Larsa simply replied, "Yes."

She stated that she was not living with Scottie but said they are co-parenting when a different follower asked on her IG stories. It's worth mentioning that thousands of her followers ask her out daily but we're not sure if that's the way to her heart... although she may give you some negative attention.
