Heather Rae Young Resumes Filming 'The Flipping El Moussas' After Days Of Sickness

Heather Rae Young is not letting her pregnancy struggles stop her from working.

The reality star has not been shy about sharing her baby bump progress since she and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, announced they were expecting their first child together in July 2022. In her latest update, the soon-to-be mom told her three million followers about a bout of sickness she suffered recently.

To update her fans, Heather uploaded three images to Instagram, with the first slide showing Tarek behind the wheel of their car. Although the "Selling Sunset" star's eyes are hidden behind dark sunglasses, her smile is evident as she chills in a long-sleeved black outfit. 

The blonde beauty's hand rests on her bump while her husband leans towards her in his gray shirt and black bottoms. A swipe to the left revealed a lone Heather showing off her massive diamond ring in a selfie. By the third slide, the reality star has stepped out of the vehicle and is surrounded by plants. The 35-year-old used her caption to tell fans:

"Don't let this glam fool you, i've been sick ever since last Saturday and have basically been living in comfy clothes 24/7. I've been so go go go, even today I'm back on set filming which forced me out of my sweatpants for a little, but I genuinely love being busy... that's just who I am war but back to resting tomorrow!"

After mentioning that "Tea and honey, Humidifier, Soup & crackers, Coconut water, Lots of sleep, Water, Smoothies, Breathing with steam and eucalyptus" helped her feel better, the actress asked for "any more suggestions for pregnant mamas-to-be" in the comments.

Her fans did not need extra prompting as they dropped their helpful suggestions as she asked. One person recommended, "red onion water, or place [a] red onion cut in [the] room by where you sleep. It will detoxify the air."

Another commenter pointed out, "Sounds like your hunnie needs to give you a good back and foot rub! Get lots of rest, feel better." Others agreed that she needed to "rest really well" and to try out a "neti pot." A fan, who was more concerned about her looks, commented, "You wear sickness very well!! Looked flawless on live."

As for Heather and Tarek's upcoming "The Flipping El Moussas" show, the former had taken to Instagram to break the project's news alongside four photos of her and her beau posing in different homes. The "Dead Reckoning" actress wrote:

"Beyond thrilled to finally share some really exciting news! After many conversations, we've finally made one of our goals a reality and are excited to announce our all new series, The Flipping El Moussas with HGTV coming in 2023!"

The post quickly attracted the attention of her fans, who gave it 300k+ likes and congratulated her through their words and multiple emojis in the comments. The eight-episode docuseries is a "copycat" show; viewers would see how the couple handles significant and challenging moments in their lives, per The Blast.

Besides the intimate glimpse into their personal life, the show will also highlight how Heather deals with getting into her husband's world of flipping houses as she becomes more involved in his business.

The Blast relayed last Wednesday that Tarek hosted a live event in Long Beach, California — his hometown, through his 'Homeschooled by Tarek' company. The "Flipping 101" star's aim with the project is to teach individuals how to make money through house flipping.  

The real estate mogul also runs TEM Capital, focused on helping interested parties to create passive income through partnering on saleable real estate projects. During the event, guests had access to Tarek's partners like Kiavi, Realeflow, and Prime Corporate Services.

They were also equipped with knowledge about the partners and how they could utilize them to build their real estate investing business. The event finished with a photo-op with the 41-year-old and his wife, who was as radiant as ever, before they headed out for the exclusive VIP Dinner.

The dinner, held at Il Fornaio, was attended by guests who purchased a VIP ticket. Those guests also received 'Homeschooled by Tarek' merch.
