'Southern Charm' Star Kathryn Dennis Accused Of Being Racist, Text Monkey Emoji To Black Radio Host

“Southern Charm” star Kathryn Dennis text a black female radio host a monkey emoji and now fans are trashing the reality star.
Page Six reported, Dennis got into a dispute with radio host/activist, Mika Gadsden, over a “Trump Boat Parade” being put together by local businesses.
The two were direct messaging each other on Instagram. Dennis argued supporting President Trump didn’t make her a racist. She wrote to Gadsden, “grow a pair. You’re an L 7 weeeeeenieeee. That’s how serious I take this” along with a monkey emoji.
It appeared Dennis knew what she was doing because her next text read, “Oh damn you got me there.”
Gadsden shared the messages writing, “This is what happens when a Black woman in #Charleston speaks up against white supremacy.” Other message reportedly show Dennis calling Gadsden a “psycho” 28 times and asking her if she had a “mom.”
Fans were not here for Dennis’ actions writing, “Who is shocked here? She's an awful person” and “Could she be any more ignorant and disgusting?!!!”
Another wrote, “Who the fuck does that. I view any person as how they treat me and others... and never have i thought to turn it into a race thing. Come on Kat, you can do better than this!”
Dennis issued a half-hearted apology, “From the bottom of my heart I sincerely apologize to anyone and everyone I hurt. Although the context was not my intention, there are no ‘if ands or buts’ that excuse me did not give it thought, and it was and is wrong. I know I am not that person. I know and will do better,” she wrote.
Gadsden responded saying, “Apology not accepted.”
As The Blast previously reported, Dennis isn't the only reality star being trashed for being racist. "90 Day Fiancé" star Lisa was accused of using the N-word by her husband Usman.
