Scheana Shay has been looking really sad on this season of “Vanderpump Rules”. The hopeful singer,35 has shared with fans that she feels set up this season and now she has confirmation. An editor for the wildly popular show just admitted that she purposely edits Shay in a negative light. Bri Dellinger recently admitted on the “Twisted Plot Podcast” with Evelyn Marley that she has been intentionally making Shay look like the worst person she could be. She has been mainly using the embarrassing footage of Shay on purpose.

Dellinger admitted on the podcast that she had an issue with Shay and because of this issue she has basically been abusing her powers to take bullying to a whole new level. “If Scheana knows what’s good for her, she’d befriend me because my favorite game is finding all the embarrassing things that Scheana does and putting them all in,” she shared with “Page Six”. The editor, who seemed not concerned with losing her job for this admission went on to share that she set up a few other scenes that intentionally made Shay look horrible.

She bragged about being the brains behind that awkward scene where Shay appeared to be hitting on co-star Stassi Schroeder’s very young brother Nikolai. “We asked her in the interview, ‘How young would you go?’ and we didn’t tell her it was for the Nikolai scene, of course,” admitted Dellinger. “It was so funny,” she added. “We were watching the scene and were like ‘Okay, this is over the top, I realize that, but how can we resist?’ … Yes, I set it to funny music, and I added a funny [sound] bite, but she did that.”

Snickering about intentionally making someone look bad seems desperate in itself. Dellinger must hate her job so much that she is seeking entertainment in a professional setting. Shay has mentioned a few times already during interviews and on her social media accounts that all season she has felt like she is “playing a character”. During an interview with Channel Q’s “The Morning Beat”, Shay shared, “I think that they just like to keep me in this one-dimensional box. She went on to state, “It’s almost like I’m playing a character.”

Shay elaborated on how she is being portrayed this season. I am a ‘desperate, middle-aged waitress.’ That is my role to play here. Nothing from my actual life is shown outside of it. I had so much going on last year, but it’s just brushed over because we have eighteen other cast member’s lives to cover.” Shay actually had a few great moments this season, she underwent treatment to freeze her eggs which a lot of people would have loved to see. Apparently, she wasn’t desperate enough in those scenes, so the editors ignored them altogether.

“I thought it was so important for so many women out there to watch me go through this and the show just brushes over it,” said Shay. Initially Shay believed a lot of her footage was left on the cutting room floor because of how large the cast is, keeping track of 18 people’s lives is a big task. However, now she knows the real reason why, she didn’t suck up to Dellinger enough to get the good bits shown. The shady editor wasn’t explicit about her beef with Shay, but something tells us she’s just a hater.
