Aaron Carter’s body has been turned into ashes.
The pop singer died unexpectedly earlier this month after drowning in his tub.
It’s been reported that Carter’s death certificate reveals he was cremated.
Aaron Carter's Body Was Cremated
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, the singer-turned-boxer’s ashes are currently in the possession of his sister Angel.
However, his final resting place has yet to be determined. Carter’s family will decide as a whole how he will be honored.
The legal document also revealed his mother, Jane, was the first to hear of the singer’s death. She is listed as the “informant.”
He is listed as a musician in entertainment who was never married. He did not have a will at the time of his death, which puts his estate in jeopardy.
His Official Cause Of Death Is Still A Mystery
One major thing still to be determined is Carter’s cause of death. It was deferred weeks ago and more tests are needed to figure out what exactly killed him.
The Blast previously reported on a potential cause of death which included huffing cans.
The singer tragically passed away on Saturday, November 5th, after drowning in his bathtub. Carter was last seen alive at 2AM on Friday, November 4th, according to law enforcement sources.
Surfaced TikTok audio and new reports from the crime scene shine a bright light on what may have caused his death.
The TikTok audio was shared by user AUNTIE_OK earlier this month.
The clip features an anonymous woman speaking to 911 dispatchers reportedly made three days prior to his body being discovered by his housekeeper.
Law Enforcement Was Warned Carter Was On "Verge of Death"
“I was just calling to see if there’s anyway you guys could send an officer to go check in on him. The thing is, he’s a very heavy drug user and he’s inhaling computer duster and he was doing it all night,” a female told dispatchers. “They got into a huge fight and she ended up leaving.”
The male dispatcher tells the concerned woman, “Yeah, she actually called in earlier and stated that she was going to go check up on him and call back. I don’t believe she ever did.”
It’s believed the woman they’re referring to on the phone call is Carter’s fiancée, Melanie Martin.
“Has Aaron made statements since you last spoke to him about potentially hurting himself or committing suicide or anything,” the dispatcher asked.
“He hasn’t made statements about hurting himself, but he’s made statements about like hurting other people,” the female caller responded. “Another thing to, just to note, he’s been abusing his animals and she has videos of it. So, I don’t know if that would help either. He’s very, very, very ill. He is on the verge of death.”
The worried friend even warned the dispatcher that the next time police/law enforcement officials are sent out to his house that he could be dead.
All of this news is extremely chilling given Carter’s track record of huffing compressed air.
In September, TMZ reported that fans were worried for Carter after he was seemingly heard huffing on Instagram Live.
Carter Had A History Of Huffing Condensed Air
During the Live, Carter’s screen went black and fans believed they could hear “spraying and inhaling going on in the background.”
Cops and the fire department responded to his home in Lancaster, CA.
Sources told the outlet that they tried calling Aaron and knocking on his door to no avail at first, but eventually made contact with him. Aaron told officers he was sleeping.
Cops did not find any drugs or criminal activity going on at his home at that time.
However, a brand-new report from TMZ states cops found multiple cans of compressed air in Carter’s bathroom and bedroom, and they found prescription pills at the scene of his death.
It’s still not clear if huffing had any part in his drowning, but it’s a major clue in the case.
Prior to his death, police were sent to his house in the early hours of November 6th to do a welfare check.
Carter’s live-in housekeeper opened the door for the cops around 2 AM on Friday. She was instructed by Carter to make them leave and not bother him.
It’s unclear if the anonymous call shared on TikTok was the same call that sent police to his house on November 5th.
On Saturday morning, the housekeeper went to Carter’s room to see if he wanted any coffee and heard his dog going crazy behind the door.
When she entered his room, she found his lifeless body in the tub.
Per reports, law enforcement believe his body was in the tub for a long time as there was a smell of decomposition and the water had turned an unnatural color.
