Los Angeles rapper Blueface has been arrested and charged to court in relation to an October 8 shooting.
According to a report from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, he was booked for multiple charges, including “attempted murder, use of a deadly weapon and discharging a gun into an/into occupied structure.”
His recent charges come after the rapper was previously arrested in February for gun possession during a routine traffic stop.
In 2019, he was also charged with one felony count of carrying a loaded gun without registration; those charges were later dropped in October of that year.

Blueface Was Reportedly Involved In A Shooting On October 8
In a footage obtained by TMZ, Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, was out in public with his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, when a group of detectives from the LVMPD stormed the rapper, pinned him to a wall, cuffed him before carrying him off in their vehicle.
Per the publication, eyewitnesses claimed that six to eight officers were involved in the rapper’s arrest, which was carried out outside of Lo-Lo’s Chicken and Waffles around Hughes Center Drive.
When some eyewitnesses questioned the reason for the arrest, the officers on the scene claimed they were executing an open warrant against the rapper.

The department later took to Twitter to inform the public of the exact reason for bringing the rapper in.
“On November 15, 2022, at approximately 2:40 p.m LVMPD detectives arrested 25-year-old Johnathan Porter on charges stemming from a shooting that took place on October 8, 2022, in the 6000 block of Windy Road,” the statement reads.
Blueface Faces Multiple Charges
The statement released by the department revealed that the rapper will now face multiple charges after being booked at the Clark County Detention Center.
The charges include “attempted murder, use of a deadly weapon, and discharging a gun into an/into occupied structure.” The rapper’s booking photo was attached to the Twitter statement, where he appeared to be wearing a prison jumpsuit.
Per People, the “Respect My Cryppin” star was also charged for operating an unregistered vehicle, trailer, or semi. His court hearing was scheduled for 8 a.m, Wednesday.
Following the rapper’s arrest, his girlfriend, Rock, took to her Instagram story to disclose that she would be by her partner’s side during his Wednesday court appearance.
She said that she anticipates his release to occur shortly. Rock was previously arrested for misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass in August after an altercation with her boyfriend in a bar in Arizona.
The Rapper Released A Music Video That Depicted Him In Prison
Apart from the statement released on Twitter, LVMPD has not shared any further details about the arrest of Blueface or noted if other people were involved in the October 8 shooting.
There is also no clarification if more charges will be added to the rapper’s current docket in the coming days.
The rapper’s arrest occurred almost a month after he posted on his Instagram page a snippet from the video for his single “Better Days 2 (Pain In The Ghetto).”

Coincidentally, the scenes from the clip showed Blueface in jail wearing an orange jumpsuit while another captured him in court being called to the stand.
A part of the lyrics read: “One suspect, two victims, hurt all three they kids / Four, five shots, all it took to get ’em 40 years.”
Blueface’s Previous Arrests
In February, Blueface was taken into custody for gun possession after being pulled over for a routine traffic stop while driving through Hollywood.
The rapper was noted to have had expired license plates, which led to a consented search of the vehicle, upon which the arresting officers found a handgun in the car’s center console.
None of the other occupants were arrested at the time. However, Blueface was charged with possessing a concealed weapon in a vehicle.
He was accused of carrying a loaded firearm without a license in 2019, but the matter was withdrawn in October of that year.
The police also put out a warrant for him in 2021 for assaulting a bouncer who had refused him entry into a club.
