Heather Rae Young Confesses Step Children Changed Her Mind About Having Kids

As far as pregnancy updates go, Heather Rae Young has probably been the most open about her journey, keeping fans up to speed on every occurrence.

The "Selling Sunset" star, who recently marked her first anniversary with her husband Tarek El Moussa, is now taking her update back to how the whole pregnancy started. Heather has plenty to say about Tarek's kids — Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7 — and their impact on her life. 

The reality TV star had previously posted pictures from her themed baby shower, but that was not the end, as she once again took to her Instagram page to share some more heart-warming images with her stepdaughter. 

On the first slide, she was walking into the party hand in hand with the 12-year-old, looking beautiful in their outfits as they smiled widely. The expecting mother wore a long shimmery ensemble with a high slit and heels while her little girl stunned in a light blue mini dress.

The following slides were closer shots of the duo as they held themselves while she placed her hand on Heather's bump. The next image would soften the hardest heart as they went from standing in a close side hug to a full-on tight hug as the tv star held Taylor close to her chest with her head tucked into her neck. 

The final picture featured a sweet element at the bottom of her dress which was the inscription that read, "Baby El Moussa." Heather's sentiment is shown through her caption, which partly reads:

"Walked into winter wonderland hand in hand with Tay 🤍 and it meant the world to me."

The 35-year-old added that anyone who knew her before getting married to Tarek knew that she never imagined that she would have kids, as she believed it was not meant to be. It all changed after she met the "Flip or Flop" star who brought his kids along with him. 

The soon-to-be-mom wrote, "having Tay and Bray in my life. They melted my heart and made me want to be a mommy." While acknowledging that raising humans was the hardest job in the world, she noted that it was also the best and was very excited to add "another baby El Moussa to the family ❤️."

The love that the realtor has for her stepkids is undeniable from how she includes them in her life, and it is safe to say that she has had a great start at being a mother. The former "Playboy Playmate of the Month" is not the only one excited about the unborn baby, as The Blast shared that Heather revealed her stepkids' reaction to the news.

She posted to her Instagram page a picture of herself and Taylor sitting in the backseat of a car. The 12-year-old gave her a peck on the cheeks as Heather explained in the caption how she captivated her heart the first day they met and the fantastic response she received from the kids about the pregnancy.

She then divulged that Tay was the first after her husband to know about the bundle of joy. The former model told followers that they ended up telling her while tucking her into bed because she asked that she would like to be the first to know if they were to have a baby. She wrote:

"So we had to tell her right then and there instead of surprising her and Bray together. I love this girl to pieces and can't wait to see her be the best big sister to another baby brother."

As her son's delivery date draws near, Heather decided to celebrate her baby boy with a bang through a winter wonderland-themed baby shower. The Blast reported that she flaunted her fairytale outfit to her followers via some clips posted to her Instagram story. 

One of the clips gave a whole look at the backless dress with the intricate designs and halter neck. It hugged her full figure from the top and over the bump as it fell in soft waves at her feet. 

The embroideries across the gown comprised a mixture of blue, gold, and silver flowers, stems, and leaves as she brought the look together with a tiara on top of her high ponytail. She captioned the clip, "the most stunning custom dress is @madebyila" before adding, "glam: @makeupangie_mua @jolene_latitude33hair."
