Former NBA star Shannon Brown was arrested after shooting at two people who accidentally ended up in his Georgia home.
According to reports, the alleged victims claim they were searching for houses in the city of Tyrone. They said they noticed a “For Sale” sign and walked up to the property. They entered through an open gate and were told to come inside the home.
Once they entered the home, owned by the 34-year-old NBA star, Shannon confronted them with a gun. He originally refused to let them go but then decided to let them free.
The alleged victims told police as they were walking away Shannon started firing rounds at them.

A police spokesperson said the victims called to report the incident later that night. Officers responded to Shannon’s home to find one shell casing in the area. They arrested Shannon for aggravated assault and he was released hours later.
The strange arrest comes months after Shannon’s divorce from singer Monica. She slapped him with divorce papers in March 2019 following eight years of marriage.
The divorce was finalized in October 2019. Shannon continued to flirt with Monica on social media following their split. He even reposted photos of her on his social media with glowing captions. Monica never responded to his flirty posts.

Monica refuses to say a negative word about her ex despite their divorce. She always shows him love and publicly supports him.
After the breakup, Shannon spoke to his fans writing, “Sometimes we make life more complicated than what it really is or should be. Don’t be afraid to be a sponge, soak up as much wisdom as you can and don’t be afraid to display all that you have learned when it’s time. My mind never stops working, I’m a thinker. The most dangerous people in the world are people who think for themselves and then when those people congregate that’s when great things happen. Just a lil free game I felt I needed to share.
