The 37-year-old dropped hints that she might be expecting her first child with husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty,
when she took to Twitter on Thursday and began answering questions from her loyal fans while promoting the new song with Doja Cat. Eyebrows began raising when Nicki Minaj started tweeting about her cravings.
When someone asked her if she was cooking a lot during self-isolation, the 10-time Grammy nominee responded by listing all the food she’s been drooling over while at home. “Absolutely,” she wrote back. “Steak. Shrimp. Plus my famous cheeseburgers. So good. Been really having red meat cravings then salad cravings with extra jalapeños. Ordered chicken nachos that didn’t come with jalapeños. Who does that? Wow.” One follower was quick to put the pieces together and straight up asked, “Are you also throwing up in morning and having to go to the bathroom a lot?”

When asked about throwing up, Nicki Minaj used this as an opportunity to tease a potential pregnancy. “Lmao. No throwing up. But nausea and peeing non stop,” the rapper responded. “Omg what do u think this means guys???? Lmaooooooooooo.” After that, her fans went wild and requests for baby bump pictures came flooding in. Instead of ignoring the requests all together, Nicki Minaj simply said she wasn’t ready to show just yet. “Yea in a couple of months,” she wrote. “The world ain’t ready yet ??.”

While Nicki Minaj didn’t confirm an actual pregnancy, it sure sounded like it could be real. Although, this isn’t her first time stirring up baby rumors. Back in July, many fans had hoped she was pregnant after hearing her verse on Chance the Rapper’s song, “Zanies and Fools,” after she rapped that she was about to “be a mommy.” Last summer, she also went as far as teasing that she’s already picked out baby names. Back in February, Nicki Minaj finally put the baby rumors to bed when she said it was all a joke during her Queen Radio. “I’m pregnant,” she said, before bursting into laughter. “They really gon’ believe me — my manager’s face! He was about to die!” Nicki Minaj married Petty in 2019 and has addressed her desire to be a mom on multiple occasions.
