Scheana Marie Doesn't Want To Be The 'Desperate Middle-Aged Waitress' Of 'Vanderpump Rules'

Scheana Marie is not happy with the way she's portrayed on the past several seasons of "Vanderpump Rules."

As the eighth season of the Bravo reality series nears its end, Scheana appeared on Channel Q’s "The Morning Beat," where she opened up about her frustration with being portrayed as the show's "desperate middle-aged waitress."

As Scheana explained, she has much more going on outside of SUR Restaurant and while fans didn't see much about it during season eight, she opened up about her egg freezing journey.

According to Scheana, she decided to freeze her eggs years ago after fearing she would not be able to conceive a child naturally once she finds someone to settle down with.

“It’s been in the back of my head ever since I was a kid that I would just have trouble getting pregnant,” she admitted.

As fans of "Vanderpump Rules" will recall, Scheana married Mike Shay during an earlier season of the show but split from him years ago and has not yet remarried.

While Scheana understands that not every aspect of her life is going to be featured on the show, she hoped to see her egg freezing journey chronicled because she felt it would be helpful to other women around the globe who are going through similar experiences.

"It's not like I am trying to create my own storyline...but I thought it was so important for so many women out there to watch me go through this and the show just brushes over it."

After eight years on the show, Scheana is feeling boxed in by her producers.

"I think that they just like to keep me in this one-dimensional box....it's almost like I'm playing a character. I am a ‘desparate, middle-aged waitress’" she shared. "That is my role to play here. Nothing from my actual life is shown outside of it. I had so much going on last year, but it's just brushed over because we have eighteen other cast member's lives to cover."

In November of last year, months after production wrapped on the eighth season of "Vanderpump Rules," Scheana confirmed she was dating a man named Brock Davies on her Instagram page by sharing a photo of the two of them on vacation in Bali.

Since then, Scheana has been thinking about moving in with her boyfriend.
