Legendary soap opera actor John Aniston has passed away at the age of 89.

The "Days Of Our Lives" actor's passing on Friday, November 11th, was announced by his daughter, Jennifer Aniston, with a poignant Instagram post.

The "Friends" actress shared a series of photos of the father and daughter duo, ranging from her childhood to snapshots taken in recent years.

Mr. Aniston's legacy will be remembered through his longtime role on "Days Of Our Lives"; The actor has portrayed Victor Kiriakis since the mid-1980s.

John Aniston's 'Days Of Our Lives' Co-Stars Pay Tribute To Their 'Beloved Family Member'

The official Twitter account for "Days Of Our Lives" paid tribute to Aniston, honoring his legacy on the show.

"Our hearts are broken following the loss of our beloved family member John Aniston. We love you John. Your legacy will live on," the tweet reads.

Aniston's legacy has certainly been cemented with fans of the beloved soap opera. He began playing the role of Victor in 1985, and, according to TV Line, Aniston is likely to appear in upcoming episodes due to the series' airing schedule.

According to the outlet, Aniston had been featured in the episode of "Days Of Our Lives" which aired on the day of his passing.

"Days Of Our Lives" fans gathered to pay tribute to Aniston in the tweet's comments section.

One fan tweeted, "Loved that man! Will miss him so much. My condolences to his family, his family at 'Days,' and all those who adored this talented man."

Jennifer Aniston Pens A Pogniant Instagram Tribute To Her Father

Aniston, 53, took to Instagram on Monday morning to announce her father's passing.

"Sweet papa... John Anthony Aniston," she began in her tribute, "You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace- and without pain, and on 11/11 no less!" Aniston continued. "You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now. I'll love you until the end of time, Don't forget to visit," her tribute concluded. She also adorned her post with multiple emojis, including hearts, stars and a dove.

Several famous faces gathered to pay tribute to John in the comments of his daughter's post.

Actor and podcast host Rob Lowe sent Aniston "so much love."

Reese Witherspoon comforted her friend by writing, "Sending you all my angels. I love you sister."

Chelsea Handler and Lindsay Lohan offered their condolences in emoji form, both leaving hearts. Lohan also included a praying hands emoji.

According to People, Aniston had been awarded a Daytime Emmys Lifetime Achievement Award for his "Days Of Our Lives" legacy in June. Jennifer accepted the award on her father's behalf, appearing virtually.
