Question: What has blue lips, a constantly hard horn, and has one of the best views in the country? Nastia Liukin‘s inflatable unicorn of course!
The Olympic gold medalist showed off her gymnast body on Monday but, thanks to social distancing, her pool toys were the only ones there to take in the fabulous view. Nastia wore a stunning blue bikini and accessorized with big, dark shades as she got a little pool time in.
“happy monday from me + all my quarantine friends ?,” Liukin joked in the caption of her post.
Her inflatable unicorn wasn’t the only fan that was full of hot air after checking out Nastia’s pic, Her followers thanked the star for making their time at home a little lighter.
“Yes ma’am!” one excited follower exclaimed, while another said, “Mmmmm. Dat body.”
Several of her fans loved her “friend” and praised the inflatable in the comments. “Your quaran-team ?,” one funny fan said. “I like your friends!” another confessed.
“Glad to see you looking relaxed and healthy. ☺️” her Insta family friend commented.
Not only does Nastia make waves in her pool, but she is also making waves in the fashion world. She is quickly becoming known for her chic style and impeccable fashion sense. Nobody rocks a wide brim hat like the gymnast but maybe that’s because she’s from Texas.
Like every good influencer, she spreads the word of her workout schedule and all of her upcoming projects by getting your attention with a thumb-stopping photo.
“you’ve all been asking for it, so we are finally sharing how my stylist @lagabstyle and I accessorize my looks!” she exclaimed in the caption a recent swimsuit pic.
She’s learning the game quickly!
The former Olympian recently opened up about how she was in a much darker place before we all got stuck at home.
“Just a few months ago I was in such a different place (we all were I suppose) While nobody knew we would be in the middle of a global pandemic right now, at the time I thought I had hit rock bottom — in all aspects of life,” Nastia said without going into specifics.
She continued her message by explaining how she is not taking things for granted anymore and how she is making an effort to be grateful.
“If you’re reading this and you are going through any kind of a difficult situation, sadness, fear, or whatever you might be facing, I’m here to tell you, you’re going to be okay. There were moments I didn’t even believe that, but today I know that’s true. Everything happens for a reason and I’ve finally learned to appreciate the challenging, sad, and confusing times in life… because they have led me to where I am today. So tonight, take a second and be grateful for something, and celebrating something — whether that’s a big thing or small thing,” Liukin concluded.
One of the few positives to come out of the whole being stuck at home thing has been Nastia’s opportunity to spend more time with her parents at her childhood home in Dallas, Texas.
“I’m getting to spend a lot more quality time with my mom than I ever have and it’s been so special! My mom has always been my #1 cheerleader and inspires me in everything I do. ❤️ Work travel normally takes me away from spending more time with my family, so I’m cherishing this time as much as I can.”
Remember, her mom is Russian gymnast champion Anna Kotchneva so she’s not a bad person to have in your corner.
