‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stassi Schroeder And Katie Maloney Finally Reveal What Went Down With Kristen Doute

For months fans of “Vanderpump Rules” have been berating Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney for being piss poor friends to Kristen Doute. They haven’t fully spoken their piece… that is until now. Schroeder and Maloney got real on Schroeder’s podcast “Straight Up With Stassi” at the ending of April. The Las Vegas newlywed and the death obsessed fashionista were finally ready to share what had them so ticked off at Doute in the first place. The women’s friendship seemed messy but stable but no one thought it would ever come to this.

The duo thought that it was time to share with fans why Doute’s pretty regular boyfriend problems were such an issue for them. The girls shared that they had a pact with Doute before the show started filming. They agreed to help Doute address her issues with now ex-boyfriend Brian Carter on camera. It sounds like this was the only way to get the screentime Doute felt she deserved. Let’s be honest, she hasn’t worked at any of Lisa Vanderpump’s resturants for at least 3 seasons now.

The plan never came to fruition because every time the Witches of WeHo filmed together, Doute would flip the script and trash her friends for talking smack about her boyfriend. You can see how this would become a problem eventually. Schroeder claims, “Kristen defended Carter as if these conversations had never happened”. At this point the women felt like they were set up to look like “bitches”. Not only did Doute defend Carter but she did so in such an aggressive manner that it made Schroder and Maloney believe that they needed to take a step back from their friend.

“It became really difficult when she would defend him so aggressively to us on camera but then off-camera, it was a very different situation. She still wanted to have these heart to hearts and a shoulder to cry on and we would still obviously offer that to her because she was our best friend and we still were supportive of her,” shared Maloney. The women also shared that it has been a little over two years since the girls started feeling this way.

This season Doute has focused on getting the narrative out that Schroeder and Maloney were not friends with her for the simple fact that she is dating someone they don’t like. Schroeder also cleared that up. “We’re not mad that you’re in a s–tty relationship. I am mad that you are us look like friends.” we are going to translate hat last bit for you, she possibly meant she was mad that Doute made them look like bad friends. This would make anyone annoyed especially when it’s broadcasted to millions around the world.
