The Internet Is Convinced Iggy Azalea Secretly Gave Birth

Another day, another pregnancy rumor.

This time it’s about Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.

Rumor has it the 29-year-old secretly gave birth to her first child with rapper Playboi Carti.

Two days ago, artist Artist DJ Akademiks, posted a meme on Instagram of Azalea and Playboi Carti. The photo read, ‘Congrats to Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti on the birth of their son this past weekend.’

The DJ fueled rumors even more by writing, ‘Talked to some ppl.... allegedly this is true. Congrats to #playboicarti and #iggyazalea if it is,’ next to the photo.

Azalea first rose to fame when she released the song ‘Fancy’ in 2014. The song was a hit and earned the rapper several Grammy nominations.

Since then, she’s released two albums; one in 2014, and the other 2019. Azalea is also active in the fashion world, landing covers on popular magazines; including Cosmopolitan.

Interestingly enough, rumors that Azalea was expecting began late last year. In December 2019, multiple outlets reported she was six months pregnant with Playboi Carti’s baby.

So while the viral photo shocked fans, the timeline actually works out.

Azalea and her rumored baby daddy were first linked in the summer of 2018 but split up in December. Shortly after, they got back together.

And now, the pair reportedly live together in Atlanta, Georgia.

Last month, Playboi Carti got into trouble with the law after he was reportedly pulled over for expired license registration.

According to the cop, when they pulled him over Playboy Carti told him that he’d ‘f*** his daughter.'

Which led the police to search his car, where they found drugs and weapons.

The rapper was ‘booked for expired tags, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and failure to move over.’ But was released on bail.

Throughout their relationship, Playboi Carti and Azalea have been thick as thieves.

‘Once I started talking to her, I just cut off everybody,’ the ‘Magnolia’ singer toldThe Fader during an interview. ‘It was over with.’

In July 2019, fans were convinced the two were engaged after Azalea posted a photo with a huge rock on her finger.

And while we don’t know for sure if they’re engaged, or even have a baby, we do know the two have a lot of love for each other.

“The nicest thing that my guy does for me is he tells me when if my wig lace is showing. He’s always like, ‘Babe, I know it can look better. It doesn’t look like it’s growing out of your head,’” Azalea shared in 2019.

She added, “It’s usually when I put it on [myself]. He’ll come out and be like, ‘I think you should wear a hat.’”
