Ramona Singer waved goodbye to her "RHONY" family after 13 whole seasons. In a recent interview, the reality TV personality confirmed that she wouldn't be showing up for the new version of the "Real Housewives of New York" show.

The production team announced an upcoming "Legacy" version of the show where they would introduce a new cast and keep some members of the original one. However, Singer decided it wasn't what she wanted to do anymore.

The reality tv star even publicly talked down on the show and discouraged the team from inviting her. Viewers will notice her absence since Singer was the only cast member that remained on the show since it debuted in 2008. She is also willing to train the new cast members if they hire her.

The 65-year-old told Page Six of her plans to leave after deciding she didn't like the show anymore. "I do not want to do the show any longer," Singer said. She then noted that it wasn't what she wanted to do at the moment. "It's not for me at this time."

The show's network planned to revamp "RHONY" earlier in the year by bringing in fan-Favorite members from its previous seasons. The team hoped to have Singer along with other members from the last season, like Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps. They also planned to invite alums like Dorinda Medley, Jill Zarin, and Kelly Bensimon.

However, plans changed after they heard how the star felt about the show. They held up on inviting the most loyal cast member after she started talking badly about "RHONY" to the public.

Singer aired her opinion on the reality series in an appearance on the Reality with the King podcast in October. Recalling how long she had spent with the popular show, she said, "I've been there for a long time." In response to whether she would ever want to be related to the franchise, she said, "I mean, never say no, never say never."

However, she didn't support the production team's idea of bringing back alums for the "Legacy" version. She was also upset that they changed their minds since there was no plan to renew former cast members before. About the show, she asked, "How could it be really good?"

She noted, "The people they are gonna bring back are the people they didn't want to renew anyways." The TV personality who starred on the show for over 13 years also joked about the new title. "So now what? Are you gonna call it 'The Loser Show,' the 'Loser Legacy'?" While she seemed upset, a source close to the star told Page Six that she didn't mean to talk badly about the show. However, it didn't encourage the team to send her an invite.

The source noted that her time on the podcast was the "defining moment" for her feelings about the show. While she had some negative experiences, there were some memorable ones.

The source also insisted that she had a special place in her heart for the show and didn't mean to sound offensive. "She does seem to put her foot in her mouth a lot." While she means well, she still won't be joining the show for its future projects.

Her decision to end her time with the "RHONY" team ended her title as the show's longest-cast member, as she served viewers enough drama and content since 2008. While she is no longer on the show, the star is willing to teach the new cast member how to follow in her footsteps.

In response to how she felt about the new cast, Singer noted, "I have no idea about the new cast. I don't even know who they are yet." However, she hoped they were good enough to continue the "Legacy" of the original members. She also explained that copying the personalities of former stars of the show would be the "worst thing to do."

"People will know that you are faking it," she added. The star then offered to teach them how to become "an icon like her" if they hired her. "Hire me as a consultant and then I will show you exactly what to do so you can be an icon like me."
