Late last week, Britney Spears set fire to ~~the rain~~ her home gym. The 38-year-old pop star claimed "it was an accident" while looking guilty in the thumbnail.

"But yes …. I burnt it down ?. I walked past the door to the gym and flames ???? BOOM !!!!!! By the Grace of God the alarm ? went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt ??," Spears wrote on Thursday.

""Unfortunately now I have only two pieces of equipment left lol and a one-sided mirror gym ??? !!!!!"

"But it could be much worse so I’m grateful. Pssss I like working out better outside anyways ????? !!!!"

In the video, Spears said she "had two candles, and, yeah."

"One thing led to another, and I burned it down."

It's this line that still has the comments in shambles. As one put it so well, Spears' "low key announcement of burning down your gym" is a "2020 mood."

"So did the fire department show up and put out the flames," one asked, "or like how big of a fire is it?"

Another questioned, "how do you casually burn down your entire gym?"

Probably because this is not the first or second time Brit's set her home on fire!

The first account of Spears' fire-setting was given in March 2002. For some context as to where this falls on the timeline of her career and/or your life: it was during peak 'I'm A Slave 4 U' days (remember the snake?)

As E! News reported, "the pop princess came pretty darn close to burning down--well, not the house--but a New York City apartment building."

The outlet shared pieces of a then-recent blog post from Brit's mom Lynne Spears in which her famous 20-year-old daughter was excited for a night out in Manhattan. The Disney alum and a friend later left to meet up with Spears' older brother.

"But Britney spaced and forgot to snuff a candle," the article said.

Lynne Spears explained that "Brit had left a candle burning in front of an air vent. The wall caught on fire, and the fire department had to come to put it out."

E! later added that, in Lynne's words, "Britney's candle fetish sparked an earlier fire in the family's Louisiana home. Lynne Spears says her famous kid somehow set her bathroom aflame with a misplaced candle."

"She has really learned a lesson this time."

Apparently not!

Further conversation on the recent gym-burning came when a 2011 tweet of Brit's was resurfaced - one that simply states, "I LOVE vanilla candles."

"They don't love you u back sis," one commented, another adding that "this aged badly."

Among other talents, Spears fans have one very special inclination: the ability to spin literally A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G into pointing back at her career.

"We love you Queen, I hope you put [the] candles away from [the] gym," a third expressed. "We miss you, now let's burn the charts whenever you're ready to release #B10."

See what we mean...?!
