The wild stories about Joe Exotic, the focus of the Netflix documentary series “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness,” seem to be never ending. Now, photos of what the Daily Mail calls his “sex den” have surfaced and can be seen here.
The den was reportedly in the attic of his home that was on the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park property that Joe owned.

Jeff Lowe, who is the current owner of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, revealed details of Joe’s disturbing secret lifestyle, claiming Netflix’s hit docuseries failed to include twisted allegations of Joe engaging in bestiality with zoo animals.
Living in a small two-bedroom bungalow on the grounds, Joe engaged in filming sex acts, drug use and using stuffed animals as sex toys.
‘Joe is one creepy guy,’ Lowe said, explaining that after Joe fled the zoo in 2018 he let several of the employees to go into the home and trash it.
Lowe said that when Joe fled the zoo in 2018, he went exploring around his bungalow and that’s when he found the sex den.
“When Joe left the zoo, the first place I headed to, was Joe’s house I had to see what was up there.” He said he found dildos, whips, bondage devices and several thumb drives that showed Joe’s husband, John Finlay, having sex with other men.
While the show has been wildly successful amid the coronavirus pandemic, many of the subjects featured in the series aren’t happy with how they were depicted.
Myrtle Beach Safari owner Doc Antle has been very critical.
“We are very disappointed that our facility was mentioned in the new Netflix series. We can only assume it is because Doc Antle has been such a high profile wildlife personality for so many decades that his association would create more buzz,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
He added: “It is important to understand that this series is not a documentary; it’s sensationalized entertainment with paid participants. Tiger King is the bizarre story of Joe and Carole and their feud.
“These characters are not representative of experts in the wildlife sector or world class facilities like ours here in Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach Safari has been recognized by the state of South Carolina as one of the pre-eminent wildlife facilities in the United States. We’ve also received international accolades for the critical role we provide with our qualified, captive breeding programs and our global conservation efforts of threatened and endangered species.”
Antle also lays out the guidelines his facility follows to make sure they are doing everything above-board:
“Myrtle Beach Safari adheres to all USDA guidelines, and our animals are treated with the utmost care. We have never had a USDA violation and work collaboratively with various state and federal wildlife agencies to ensure our animals receive the very best life each and every day. “
“All cubs are cared for cradle to grave the wild accusation that we would ever euthanize a cub is manufactured sensationalism. It’s a complete fabrication that A tiger looses [sic] its value at a certain age they all have a place. It’s Also illegal, immoral,and unjust.”
