Millie Bobby Brown Admits 'Stranger Things' Co-Star Finn Wolfhard Is A 'Lousy Kisser'

Actress Millie Bobby Brown did not have the best things to say after kissing co-star Finn Wolfhard while filming "Stranger Things." The Netflix series started airing in 2016, with Brown starring as Eleven and Wolfhard's Mike Wheeler as her love interest.

The co-stars had shared several on-screen kisses over the years, starting from when they were just 12 and 13. At the time, Brown revealed it was awkward for them, and Wolfhard claimed he felt embarrassed watching old scenes.

Although his co Star told him he had improved compared to the first time, Brown recently implied that those were mere words of reassurance. When strapped to a lie detector machine, she said that he is still a bad kisser and has not shown any improvement over the years.

Brown recently underwent a lie detector test with Vanity Fair, where she went into detail concerning aspects of her career, personal life, and relationship with her cast mates on the popular Netflix show, "Stranger Things." The "Enola Holmes" actress answered several questions concerning her cast mates, including Wolfhard.

The Vanity Fair interview started the line of questioning by asking Brown if she thought the actor was a "lousy kisser." "You exclaimed 'kissing sucks' after your first kiss with Finn Wolfhard. Is Finn just a lousy kisser?" they asked. The actress answered in the affirmative immediately, and the test revealed her answer was true.

When Brown was asked if Wolfhard had improved in the kissing department, she said, "Not with me, no." The actress further revealed that she had not informed her co-star of his lack of progress; however, she had no problem with him finding out now.

Brown and Wolfhard played Eleven and Wheeler in the Netflix "Stranger Things" series. The duo was depicted as love interests whose relationship began when they were children and deepened over the years. As a result, they have shared several kisses via their characters for the entirety of their adolescence.

The characters shared their first kiss on the series in 2016, during its first season. At the time, Brown was 12 while Wolfhard was 13, so it was unsurprisingly awkward on both ends. The duo joined "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that period, and according to Brown, they were keeping things "young and juvenile."

The actress continued at the time, "I got up, and then I said, 'kissing sucks.' And then Finn was like, 'It wasn't too bad.'"

In an interview with Extra, Brown touched on the topic of on-screen kissing once more and said she thought it was "awkward" because of how many people were present on the set. Besides the actress, Wolfhard and Noah Schnapp were in the interview and revealed that some of them had their first kiss in season one of the Netflix sci-fi.

Wolfhard also revealed that he felt embarrassed watching the old scenes because he looked like he was eating Brown during kissing scenes.

Although the "Enola Holmes" actress recently revealed that Wolfhard had not made any improvements with his kissing, at least with her, during the 2019 interview, she had something different to say. In what can now be seen as mere reassuring words, Brown said, "I will say this; We've progressed. We've gotten better."

Since having her first kiss on "Stranger Things" season one, Brown has certainly had some practice. The actress is currently dating Jake Bongiovi, the son of Jon Bon Jovi, a famous US artist. She was spotted sharing a kiss with him earlier this year while they were on a European getaway.

The duo was first spotted in June 2021 holding hands, and Bongiovi went on to share a picture of Brown captioned "bff." They became official towards the end of 2021 after attending the London Eye and posing for several photos together.

Bongiovi and Brown spent Christmas together in December, as well as the actress' 18th birthday in February. Since then, they have been more open about their relationship, with Brown revealing that they met each other via Instagram and became fast friends before proceeding to a more romantic relationship.
