"You guys are paying $8 a month to come on here and go to war with people who are not in agreement with who your favorite pop star is," Doja Cat said in the voice recording. "You're paying $8 a month to come on here and say sh*t like 'byeee.'"

The bash fest did not end there as the pop star continued, "you're coming on here for $8 a month to post porn and then get into an argument. I think I can stop there. Ok, cool. Bye!"

While the "Kiss Me More" artist may not like the Twitter changes enforced by Musk, the Billboard chart-topper's bravado did not last long. Shortly after her rant, the Grammy winner changed voices to seek the Billionaire's help.

Doja recently changed her Twitter handle to "Christmas" to celebrate the forthcoming holiday. Additionally, the media personality used a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" display for her profile and cover pictures.

However, this merry decision soon turned into a sour affair as the caramel-toned beauty realized she could not revert the change. Once the problem became apparent, the AMA winner turned to fans for help.

"Why can't I change my name on here," she inquired before directing her questions at the Twitter owner. "How do i change it?" She tweeted, "Also, f**k you, Elon."

Unfortunately for the "Say So" artist dropping insults did not have the desired effect, and the 27-year-old swallowed her pride to beg for forgiveness. "I don't wanna be Christmas forever @elonmusk please help I've made a mistake," the Los Angeles native pleaded.

Saying please did the trick as the SpaceX founder responded to Doja, assuring the platform user that he was working on her handle issue. Nonetheless, the 51-year-old could not help but laugh at the younger entertainer's dilemma.

"Pretty funny though," the South African native wrote alongside two rolling-on-the-floor laughing emojis. Despite him poking fun at her, Doja cheerfully thanked the tech mogul for agreeing to sort out her problem.

Following the exchange between the pair, fans flooded the platform with mixed reactions. Like Musk, some people found the "Get Into It" songstress's change of pace hilarious, while others thought the entertainer went the extra mile for attention.

Meanwhile, a few Twitter users did not understand why the 27-year-old complained about the $8 subscription fee for verified accounts. Well, to each their own opinions, the only thing on Doja's mind was to stop being "Christmas."

Trevor Noah Joins The List Of Celebrities Against The Verification Fee

Earlier this month, The Blast reported that Musk's Twitter takeover was anything but smooth. After the billionaire announced his plan to verify accounts for a fee, several stars, like Trevor Noah, slammed the idea.

Initially, the business magnate wanted celebrities to retain their prestigious blue mark for $20 per month and offered the same deal to platform users needing verification. Fortunately, the Tesla CEO settled for an $8 fee after the public disapproved.

The father-of-ten explained that this new system would remove the "lords and peasants" status, putting everyone on the same level. Trust fellow South African Noah to make jest of the billionaire's plans.

During his 10-minute monologue on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah," the 38-year-old fired jabs at Musk. According to the comedian, the Neuralink co-founder resembled a "ghost whether it’s Halloween or not."

The TV host pointed out that the 51-year-old wished to own Twitter to make it a "haven for free speech." However, the only free speech people wanted was to say the N-word.

"Like, it’s never stuff like that. Have you noticed?" The stand-up personality joked. "They’re like, ‘We want free speech! We want free speech!’ OK, what do you want to say? ‘N****."
