In February of this year, Kamara was arrested on battery charges — just a few hours after he played in the NFL Pro Bowl.

The New Orleans Saints running back and his friends allegedly beat a man unconscious outside a Las Vegas nightclub. Three other men were also arrested and charged in connection to the incident. That man, Darnell Greene Jr., is filing a lawsuit.

The lawsuit states Greene ran into Kamara and his three friends when he got into a line for an elevator leaving Drai’s After Hours at Las Vegas’ Cromwell Hotel & Casino.

The running back allegedly blocked Greene from entering the elevator and then proceeded to shove the man into the wall before punching him repeatedly in the face. Greene says he tried to run away, but Kamara chased him down the hall and punch him in the face again.

The latest regarding the Kamara lawsuit is in. Although none of the defendants were in court today, November 9, the judge continued the negotiations hearing and the next court date is January 23, 2023.

The judge also set a trial date of March 1, 2023, according to sports anchor Fletcher Mackel.
