"Uncut Gems" actress Fox recently talked about her short and heady romance with the "Donda" rapper and how it impacted her career in the acting industry. While most would expect that such a high-profile and publicized relationship would yield impressive fruits, Fox revealed it wasn't so.

The actress joined a November 7 episode of the "High Low with EmRata" podcast with model Emily Ratajkowski. There she admitted that contrary to what most people thought, she faced drawbacks due to her past relationship with West.

"After the big relationship, I definitely noticed a shift in the acting way, not in a good way," Fox revealed. "I'm not getting as many offers as I was before, weirdly. There's been a lot of weird drawbacks with reaching that level of notoriety."

Fox explained that due to the relationship, several people in the industry thought of her as a "tabloid type of person" and a "liability." However, the mother of one revealed that she had no intention of allowing their comments to create a dent in her career or stop her from going after her goals.

The actress said, "It's fine, I'm so busy. I think things come to you at the right time, so that's why I'm really not stressing. I really don't care." She continued, "I just have to trust the process."

Fox and West were first seen together during the previous New Year's Eve in Miami. A week after their pictures circulated online, she joined Interview magazine for an exclusive conversation and revealed that they felt an instant connection to each other.

The former couple were together and seemingly inseparable for the month they dated; however, when Valentine's Day came by, the romance seemed to simmer down. According to Fox at the time, the popularity of the relationship was a major factor in the breakup because it made everything feel extremely "amplified."

While talking to The Cut in February, Fox said, "I've never been operating at the level that Ye is. I never wanted to be super-mega famous. It's a life-ender for some celebrities. They become reclusive and paranoid and hide. I refuse to not live authentically."

In an interview with ES Magazine in September, Fox slammed people who said her relationship with West was in a bid to remain relevant. The actress described the assumptions as "bulls**t" and revealed that West got her number via a mutual friend.

She further admitted that while there was a spark between her and the rapper, she took the relationship slowly to see what path it took. Fox claimed West's lifestyle was unsustainable for her, and she had too much on her plate to fly out weekly. She also said she left the relationship once she noticed a red flag.

"The unresolved issues that he was dealing with," the mother of one explained. "It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don't have time for it or energy. I don't have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I'm proud of myself for that."

Fox added that the person she was before having her 22-month-old son, Valentino, would have certainly stayed in the relationship for longer, red flag or not.
