Chanel West Coast Revealed Her Baby Girl's Name!

Chanel West Coast is a proud mom! After a difficult delivery, her baby girl arrived into the world on November 2 weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces. And now a week later, her name has been announced.

“Even though it was the scariest and hardest day of my life having an emergency C-section, I am beyond overjoyed about the birth of my daughter,” she told US Weekly. The “Ridiculousness” host, 34, has been sharing photos of her beautiful baby girl on Instagram and her fans are over the moon happy for her. 

After enduring a high-risk pregnancy and tough childbirth, the MTV host is grateful to be at home “happy and healthy” with her daughter.  “She is healthy and happy as can be. She is perfect in every way to me and her daddy and we are so grateful to have her in our lives,” she said. 

Chanel announced her daughter’s arrival on Instagram and explained her tough childbirth. “After many many hours in labor I ended up giving birth to my baby girl via C-section,” she wrote in an Instagram story. Her Story went on to say she had a few complications and her daughter “didn’t wanna just pop out on her own.” She explained that giving birth was “the scariest yet most rewarding day of my life by far” and that she has “never felt a love like this before.”

Chanel originally revealed that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Dom Fenison during the MTV Movie and TV Awards in June when she walked the red carpet. From that point throughout her pregnancy, she shared growing belly snaps so her fans and followers could experience the journey alongside of her. She also shared her gender reveal and the moment they learned they were expecting a baby girl. 

As she was approaching the start of her new chapter as a mom, Chanel opened up to E! News about her pregnancy. “It’s not the easiest when you start to get very, very big. My face is started to get a little bloated,” she said. “When people were taking pictures, I asked, ‘Hey, can you raise that a little bit so we don’t have the double chin?’ But I also realized that it’s so beautiful to be pregnant.” 

Chanel said despite all the changes during her pregnancy, she continued to feel beautiful. “No matter what you look like while you’re pregnant, it’s such a beautiful thing and it’s all about just how you present yourself,” she explained. “Even with the bloating and the swollen legs and hands, I still put my glam on, still do my hair and makeup, put on a cute outfit and I just go out there and rock it as if I wasn’t pregnant at all.”
