Jennifer Aniston is on the cover of Allure next month and revealed a crazy fertility journey. Her fans are annoyed now that the real story has been revealed.
Jennifer Aniston Finally Talks About Kids
The actress is 53 and she doesn’t look it at all. She has had a career in Hollywood that spanned decades and she had overcome public shame like a boss. One thing the actress has never publicly talked about was her journey to motherhood. Had she tried, did it fail, who did she try with, if anyone at all.
She revealed to Allure that she did have a journey but it didn’t work out in her favor. “I would say my late 30s, 40s, I’d gone through really hard shit, and if it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be,” she admits.
Pregnancy Didn’t Work Out For Jennifer Aniston
The Friends star went on to share that the process was difficult and she admits she wishes she had done some things differently. “I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,” she says of the timeframe that isn’t specified.
“All the years and years and years of speculation... It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”
She admits the constant media coverage was triggering for her and the journalist interviewing her admits there was a minute where they sat “quietly” letting the uncomfortableness ride. The journalist admits she almost apologized to Aniston on behalf of all journalists… Almost.
Jennifer Aniston Has No Regrets
While the process was tough and daunting, the actress admits; “I have zero regrets.” She went on to elaborate on the statement. “I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore.”
She pointed out that there was a “narrative that I was just selfish,” or that she only cared about her career. God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child. And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid. It was absolute lies.”
Aniston goes on to admit, “I don’t have anything to hide at this point.” And let’e be clear it’s not like she can not have kids anymore, she can adopt and who knows what else can come about in the future for the actress she might be a stepmom one day!
Social Media Is Behind Jennifer Aniston
Since the reveal of how present fertility has been in her personal life while still dealing with the media scrutiny, fans of the actress are extremely pissed off and want to cover her in some kind of protection.
“Tabloids FOR YEARS made up that she was pregnant and after this all time she never became pregnant because she couldn’t JENNIFER ANISTON DESERVES AN APOLOGY,” wrote an angry fan.
“No one is doing it like jennifer aniston,” wrote another fan. “Our beautiful queen,” supported another.
“I mean, no one is selfish for not wanting children...” wrote another supporting fan. “ I can't believe that this is being considered these days... if you want children, have them (hopefully all those who want children can have them) if you don't want them, don't have them, period. It is not a mandate or obligation.”
Fans Had More To Say About Jennifer Aniston
“And this is why we need to stop asking people about their fertility/family planning,” insisted a loyal fan.
Another one pointed out a sad fact. “She was trying and trying to get pregnant and then Brad left, and everyone speculated he left because she didn't want kids. But they were trying all that time after all.”
Finally, another follower says what most people are thinking. “Beautiful and vulnerable. This story hurts the heart.”
“The pressure on women to be mothers in society and the judgment if they don’t personal choice or physical isn’t acceptable, men don’t get the same pressure for fatherhood. S\O to Jen for the vulnerability.”
We love you Jen!
