A Look Back At The Men Katie Holmes Has Dated

Katie Holmes has always been relatively private when it comes to her relationship status.

Besides her role in ‘Dawson’s Creek,’ the 41-year-old actress is best known for her whirlwind romance with Tom Cruise.

The two became engaged in 2005, shortly after they started dating. And Holmes filed for divorce in 2012.

After their relationship ended, there were reports Holmes was being intimidated by the Church of Scientology and feared Cruise would try to take their daughter. But, Holmes ended up getting full custody of Suri Cruise.

Since that relationship, the actress has remained pretty secretive about who she's dating. But we've managed to figure it out.

In 1997, Holmes was cast as Joey in ‘Dawson’s Creek.’ While on the show, she started dating her co-star, Joshua Jackon, who played Joey’s on and off again boyfriend.

Jackson and Holmes dated for about a year and split sometime in 1999.

More recently, Jackson was in a relationship with actress Diane Krueger from 2006 to 2016. Right now, he’s reportedly married to Jodie Turner-Smith (best known for her role in ‘Queen & Slim’).

The two recently welcomed a baby girl.

Holmes dated Chris Klein in 2000, about a year after Holmes split with Jackson.

The pair became engaged after three years of dating. Sadly, most of their relationship was long-distance due to Holmes filming ‘Dawson’s Creek’ in North Carolina.

'We certainly don’t see each other as much as we’d like, but we try to use the time that we have to the best of our advantage,' Klein toldPeople in 2002.

In 2003, after the show wrapped, Holmes moved to Los Angeles to be with Klein. But they split in 2006, after five years together.

Holmes and Cruise’s relationship began in April 2005.

In June 2005, she converted from Catholicism to the Church of Scientology. And two months later, the couple announced their engagement.

A year after they started dating, they welcomed their daughter Suri. Later that year, they married in Italy. But five years later, Holmes filed for divorce from the actor.

The divorce ended with Holmes getting full custody of their daughter. And since their split, there’s been a lot of rumors surrounding their marriage and divorce.

Apparently, Cruise hasn’t seen his daughter in years.

Rumors of a romance between Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes started in 2013. But neither confirmed. Speculation began after they were spotted together looking flirtatious.

Foxx was good friends with Cruise and had been close to Holmes for years. Some fans just assumed their relationship was platonic. However, in 2015, there were reports the two were together but hiding their romance.

For her birthday, the couple took a private jet to Cabo. ‘It was a quick trip in honor of Katie’s birthday. It was only them and two pilots on the plane,’ an insider revealed

And in 2017, Foxx and Holmes went public with their relationship and started showing more PDA.

There were even rumors the two were planning on getting married. Sadly, they split a year later.
