Kaley Cuoco Shows Off The '1800s' Nightgown She Grocery Shops In

Kaley Cuoco and her nightgowns are back in the news. The "Big Bang Theory" actress who has made headlines for deeming her adored nightshirts an Amazon "essential" wore one on Thursday night for her televised interview with Conan O'Brien – the TBS-aired feature saw 34-year-old Kaley discuss her nightwear in depth, plus mention that she's done nothing but "eat, sleep, and pick up dog sh-t" during COVID-19.

If you don't live inside Kaley's Instagram, night clothing is a thing. The sitcom star has announced she "only rehearses" in nightgowns, also having worn one to a formal evening event in 2019.

Conan and Kaley kicked off by talking about the old-fashioned, blue-and-white linen nightgown the actress was wearing.

"What are you wearing? Is that, like, a peasant blouse?" the talk show host asked, with Kaley replying: "Oh. This is a traditional 1800's nightgown that I have been living in since quarantine."

Conan, 57, then exclaimed: "Oh! You look like one of the Little Women!"

"Finally. Someone appreciates it," Kaley replied, with the actress then dubbing her own sleepwear a "repellant."

Kaley continued to add that the puff-sleeve number she got up to show a better view of was a "repellant" – not a "turn-on-of a nightgown," she added, laughing. The California native then mentioned billionaire heir husband Karl Cook – "My husband's like...that's what we're wearing these days...?" also scrunching her face.

Freshly moved into their new $12 million Hidden Hills estate, Kaley and Karl have been making headlines amid the coronavirus pandemic both for finally moving in together as husband and wife, plus their recent koala challenge – Kaley got a cheeky backside spank from her 2018-married spouse.

Kaley then revealed that the gown isn't exclusively an at-home deal. The star has worn it many times for trips to upscale and celebrity-adored Erewhon Market grocery store – Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato also shop there.

"Oh no, I've been wearing this for years in the Erewhon. Not just during the pandemic," Kaley said, adding that this particular store seemed to be the only place she could get away with wearing sleepwear.

As to the "Late Show with Conen O'Brien" host calling the gown a "Charles Dickens" one, Kaley joked that she walks down the stairs with a "fire lamp" at night."

Kaley made headlines on March 18 for deeming her beloved nightshirt an Amazon "essential." The late-night footage showing the new Starbucks face and husband Karl in bed came as the online retail giant announced blocking stock of "non-essential" items amid COVID-19. Kaley admitted that she wasn't sure how she'd get hold of her regular purchases – "honey," Karl was heard saying as he told the star that her idea of "essentials" is "different" to most people's.

A brief switch to pajamas also saw Kaley make headlines this month. After her "b-tch" friends texted her, Kaley confirmed her inability to name the animals on her PJs – they were pandas, not koalas.
