Gal Gadot was at one with nature on Wednesday. The Israeli model and "Wonder Woman" actress took to Instagram to mark Earth Day – Gal, 34, joins celebrities including singer Halsey and actress Bella Thorne in honoring the environmental-centric calendar day.

Given that Gal is in quarantine on account of COVID-19, her photo today many well have been a throwback. With a beach setting, the actress' killer body on show, and a powerful caption, though, the post seemed to serve its purpose.

Gal's photo showed her shot in semi-profile and from behind as she sat in a relaxed yoga pose and on sands backing onto desert and hill horizons. The star had her eyes closed as she took in rays, seen showing off her ripped and gym-honed body in a tiny pair of black gym shorts, plus a skimpy and loose tank revealing a sports bra underneath. Fuss-free vibes dominated as the "Fast & Furious" star channeled her inner zen, with the caption then giving a nod to Earth Day.

"I’m so moved seeing everyone's images of earth healing all around us. This #earthday feels louder and clearer than ever as we face this worldwide challenge ??," Gal captioned the shot.

The simple photo and powerful caption proved a hit, racking Gal up over 367,000 likes in two hours, also garnering celebrity likes. "Mad Men" actress January Jones and deceased "Fast & Furious" actor Paul Walker's daughter Meadow left likes.

Meanwhile, comments threw this hard-hitting mom of two love. "Perfection," one fan wrote, with another saying: "Beautiful."

Gal's social media regularly mentions both her Israeli nationality and her Jewish faith. Gal clocked herself over 1.4 million likes yesterday for a moving photo of her grandfather Abraham as he posed in old age while wearing the striped pajama shirt he was forced to don during his time in Auschwitz concentration camp – Gal's grandfather survived the Holocaust.

"This is my sweet grandpa Abraham Weiss wearing the prison camp uniform he was forced to wear as a teenager during the Holocaust in Auschwitz.. he lost his entire family because they were the ‘wrong race’ in someone else’s opinion, and miraculously avoided his own untimely death 9 times (!!!) I miss you Saba. A lot. Your legacy is always with us....," Gal wrote.

Headlines haven't been exclusively positive for Gal amid the coronavirus pandemic. Mid-March saw the actress face backlash for showcasing her luxurious closet as she encouraged fans to stay at home – as The Blast reported, the photo of the brunette in simple sweats generated negativity from users pointing out that not everyone has the luxury of staying home.

Likewise slammed was Gal joining in with high-profile celebrities including actress Natalie Portman and TV host Jimmy Fallon for a group rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine" – Joe Rogan called the viral image videos "tone deaf," also dubbing the stars "f-cking idiots."

Fortunately for Gal, no such backlash today.
