Sharna Burgess Forgot To Shower For 2 Days While Struggling With Mom Life

Becoming a mom can be one of the most thrilling feelings, but it also comes with its challenges and responsibilities. And not exempted from the overwhelming feeling is Sharna Burgess.

Burgess, in a recent post on Instagram, opened up to fans about her ordeal as a new mom. The talented dancer was transparent with her followers as she explained her struggles with balancing work and family life.

The new mum welcomed her baby boy, Zane Walker, with her partner, Brian Austin Green, in June 2022. The pair became an item after being set up by their mutual business partners. 

The mother-of-one got candid with her fans on Instagram, as she detailed her tedious life as a mom and also gave an update on the progress of her four-month-baby boy, Zane. 

She posted a carousel of photos and videos featuring herself, her partner, Green, and their adorable baby boy. From the photos and clips, the parents seemed very in love with their little one and showered him with lots of love and kisses.

One photo from the slides showed the doting dad carrying his son and staring at him with admiration. Zane, donned a blue sweater and a beanie, while Green wore an army green shirt and a green face cap. Another slide showed a selfie of Burgess in full makeup as she sat in a car. Also included in the post were videos of the gorgeous mom planting kisses on her son while being playful with him.

Opening up about her post, she wrote, “Everyone loves a dump these days…”. She then proceeded to appreciate her followers for their concern about her son.

“Thank you, everyone, for asking about Zane, he kicked whatever it was in a day, tbh it could’ve been a growth spurt or teething. This week has been lots of snuggles, lots of love, and I cannot believe how big he is.”

Burgess also explained to her fans what she’s been going through, “I genuinely live in sweats and no makeup, so a selfie was necessary the one day I managed to make a small effort ?." 

She further added, “Mom life is busy, and at the same time, I go nowhere. Between pumping, feeding, playtime, and everything in between, there are no hours left in the day. Tbh I realized at one point I hadn’t showered in 2 days…. And I’m a 2 showers a day human!!!”

The “Dancing With The Stars” pro, however, seemed to have figured out a way to make her job easier. She wrote, “Finding time and balance is the new skill I’m trying to master. I wouldn’t change a single thing, though, I’m obsessed with life and everything in it.”

Although the 37-year-old is enjoying every bit of motherhood, there are times when unforeseen circumstances occur, and it’s solely because she’s yet to fully activate her mom mode.

Per The Blast, last month, the choreographer joked in an Instagram reel about how she sometimes forgets she is a mother.

Burgess looked beautiful in a brown sweatshirt and lip-synced the audio to the reel, “You know what I started thinking about the other day that’s so funny? I’m a mom”. She then proceeded to laugh uncontrollably while holding a little teddy.

The skilled dancer continued, “I have a child that’s only my responsibility,” as she busted out into a fit of laughter again. And added “Holy Sh*t” before the audio came to an end.

Captioning the clip, she wrote, “so last night I made a grave error… I started a new book and stupidly stayed awake until midnight reading it. I couldn’t put it down!! (Yes it was smut lol) ugh, rookie mistake…. Acting like I didn’t have a 3-month-old that would need me at any given moment.”

Burgess' recent Instagram update comes after the lovebirds commemorated two years of love as a couple. The couple, whose romance has blossomed and produced a precious gift, their baby boy, shared sweet tributes.

Per The Blast, Green posted a carousel of photos on Instagram that included snaps of Burgess, their baby, Zane, and three of his other children.

He shared a heartwarming caption, eulogizing the mother of his four-month-old son, writing,“The life that we have created and continue to create is better than anything I ever thought was possible :)) I love you ❤?.”

In addition, the Australian-born dancer also declared her affection for the “Don’t Blink” actor. She wrote, “2 years tomorrow with this one. And he keeps getting hotter ??.”
