Cher Confirms Relationship With Much Younger Man: 'Haters Are Gonna Hate'

Cher, 76 doesn’t give a damn what you think about her relationship with music producer Alexander AE Edwards, 36.

The singer was spotted out with the music producer a few times now and every time, they are holding hands and getting cozy. Once, they were caught smooching. It is safe to assume that she is dating this young man.

Well, no need to wonder anymore, Cher confirmed the relationship on her Twitter and essentially told everyone to mind their own business! She began by posting a photo of AE with the caption, “Alexander” with a red heart emoji. She commented on her post and wrote, “that was then, this is now.” She is seemingly referring to the producer's time with his famous ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose.

The “Believe” singer went on to let her haters know that she isn’t interested in listening to their opinions, in fact, she is going to do what she wants.

“I’m Not Defending us.” Cher insists. “Haters are Gonna Hate…Doesn't Matter That we’re Happy & Not Bothering Anyone.”

She promptly went on to tweet about climate change and how everyone can get involved in that! Cher wasn’t shy about responding to followers who asked intimate questions about the pair’s relationship.

When asked if he has met people in her family Cher wrote back, “No …Everyone in my family has.” A follower asked the singer, “Did you guys meet Paris Fashion week Cher?” to which she responded, “yes”.

We really are getting an IDGAF energy from the veteran singer. She gushed with fans about the music producer treating her “like a queen” and encouraged others to date whoever they want. She was actively retweeting messages of love for her new situation. Who knew she was so active on the socials in that sense?

AE is yet to comment on the relationship and there is a slim chance he will, Cher is a different kind of celebrity you don’t treat her any kind of way! If you follow AE’s history you know he can have a hard time treating women with the utmost respect.

The music producer admittedly cheated on baddie Amber Rose. In a revealing Instagram live, the A&R exec admitted that he was caught red-handed and it wasn’t the first time. “I thought, ‘S–t, I got caught.’ I got caught before, you know what I’m saying? And she’s just had enough, obviously,” he says of his mishap with Amber Rose.

He essentially admits that he has little control and just couldn’t make it work with the influencer. “I love her, though. That’s my best friend, the mother of my son. But…I like women.”

Hopefully, history doesn’t repeat itself with Cher.
