Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne have thrilled fans with a rare image of the "Iron Man" singer and their granddaughter, Maple.

The Osbournes appear to be enjoying quality time with their little ones, starting with Maple, whom their son, Jack, shares with his fiancee Aree Gearhart. Jack and Gearhart welcomed the tot in July, making her the youngest of the former's daughters — he shares three other kids with his ex-wife, Lisa Stelly.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Sharon uploaded the same snap with her husband that provided an insight into the bond Ozzy and his granddaughter share. In the picture, the "No More Tears" hitmaker is seen lying on a couch, beaming as he holds Maple in his arms.

The three-month-old was not shy either, staring at her grandfather just as intently as he was looking at her. While the tot wore a gray romper and an orange turban covering her hair, her 73-year-old counterpart rocked an all-black ensemble.

The heartwarming photo, which also showed Maple leaning on an orange throw pillow, is the first one fans have seen of Ozzy in a few weeks following his ongoing health issues. Thus, supporters quickly gave it over 200k likes and dropped various comments, with one person writing, "Just imagine your grandpa being ozzy."

A second commenter informed the three-month-old, "Maple, one day you will [know] that your grandpa made a revolution in the history of music!" A third penned, "There's a very different, beautiful Ozzy smile..amazing love right there," and a fourth advised, "Oh you need to enlarge this beautiful memory and hang it on the wall. It makes hearts happy just looking at it!"

Another sweet grand-daddy moment for fans was knowing that Ozzy had already planned the gift he would give his fifth grandchild when his daughter, Kelly, and her boyfriend, Sid Wilson, welcomed their first baby. The "South Park" voice star opened up about it in July when he said:

"Kelly is big, and she's beautiful, and I love it. The first thing that I'm going to buy is a microphone."

Since she announced her pregnancy in early May via her Instagram account, Kelly has picked a name for the soon-to-be-born baby. Fans are hopeful that the arrival of the little one will birth a new path in the 38-year-old's life as she has publicly struggled with substance problems for years, suffering a relapse last year.

Ozzy Is Grateful Amid Decades-Long Health Challenges

When Ozzy went public with his Parkinson's diagnosis in 2020, many people were worried about how his music career would be. However, the "Immortal" singer reassured his fans that they had nothing to worry about in September.

The Blast noted that the "Dame Edna Live at the Palace" actor revealed that nothing would make him miss his performances, even if he had to be "nailed to a board and wheeled on [stage]."

In fact, Ozzy surprised 30,000 guests when he unexpectedly performed at the Commonwealth Games in August. During the Birmingham event, the A-list Osbourne took a minute to express his gratitude for how far he had come in his career. In his words:

"If somebody would have told me I'd be doing this up the road so many years later, I would've never believed them." He added that even though he had endured many tough times, his life had remained incredible.

You would recall that since his career began in the '70s, the Grammy Award winner has enjoyed multiple successful world tours and accolades, including getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his former band, Black Sabbath, in 2006.

As for the challenges, the rocker suffered a significant setback when he fell in his bathroom in 2019. The fall worsened an injury he already had from an accident that occurred 16 years before.

The severity of the fall led to him undergoing multiple neck and back surgeries, with 15 screws inserted into his spine. Additionally, Ozzy has had to deal with Parkinson's disease — which we mentioned earlier — for almost two decades and now walks with a cane.

Despite that, the metalhead released his 13th album, "Patient Number 9," in September 2022. Ozzy has since said his focus is on improving, and he has zero plans to leave the stage or retire soon.
