While much of the country's businesses are shutdown amid the coronavirus pandemic, "Dog the Bounty Hunter" star Bonnie Chapman, Duane's daughter, is still an essential employee. She revealed on Instagram that she has been working at a grocery story during the outbreak.
"How’re you holding up? I’m doing ok, working at a grocery store rn and it’s just so packed with people. I also don’t remember what I used in this photo because I did it about a month ago, hope you like it though!" she wrote alongside a selfie with one of her signature makeup looks.
Bonnie's post comes a couple weeks after her dad went public with his relationship with new girlfriend Francie Frane.
"God has brought two people who walked a treacherous road together and shown us LOVE is possible again. And as wonderful, loving and kind as you all think Dog is HE IS [AND] MORE!! I LOVE YOU DUANE LEE," she wrote in an Instagram post.
Fans who are also essential employees, or who have family members who are, offered their thoughts in the comments.
"Love this look! You look great! Hope you're able to stay safe at work. My husband works IT at a major hospital in our area so our nerves have been through the roof. He's had to be in Corona rooms so he's been taking extra measures to try and stay safe," one said.
"Love your adventurous look girl, your brown eyes pop ! My 2 sisters are a nurse and one in the ER, I'm really praying alot for them and ALL heroes working hard for us. stay safe and well," another wrote.
"Stay safe. My husband is working through this too. Thank you for you service. This look is absolutely gorgeous," a third added.
Heath officials are urging people to remain in their homes as much as possible and avoid all social gatherings. Additionally, the CDC has issued some tips for helping to avoid contracting the disease.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others. The use of facemasks is also crucial for health workers and people who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility).
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
