Fans Bombard Schwer's Instagram Comments With Inquiries About His Relationship

Windey and Schwer's relationship had been a frequent topic of discussion within Bachelor Nation since "The Bachelorette" finale aired in September.

Prior to the finale, an ex-girlfriend of Schwer's had come out of the woodwork with screenshots of text messages wherein Schwer had asked her to wait for him while he filmed the show.

The texts also allege Schwer had wanted to pursue the show for "more career opportunities" according to our report about the texts.

A portion of the "After The Final Rose" special had been dedicated to covering those texts, with host Jesse Palmer asking Schwer to offer his perspective about his actions.

He explained to Palmer his actions could be attributed to his lack of communication and hesitation to confront the uneasiness of breaking up with his ex.

The interview inspired a sense of laser-focused attention on their relationship which seemed to continue going strong a month later in Schwer's Instagram comment section.

"I don't think doing 'DWTS' is a good idea after bachelor you need time together to build your future and that takes so much time," a commenter wrote on Schwer's aforementioned Instagram photo set. They also wrote, "You had something so beautiful and is worth fighting for. I hope it's a break and not a breakup."

@flagggirl tweeted, "After the Gabby & Erich break-up, I have never seen more of an uprise from people saying they should just end the 'Bachelor' franchise. Honestly I would be ok with it. The only reason I keep watching is because I have no self-control. Not because I actually enjoy it."

Is Windey Single And Ready To Mingle?

The exact answer may be hazy to uncover, but the current 'DWTS' contestant is dipping her toe into the waters of singledom at least!

Of course, there's no better way to heal from a breakup than to be surrounded by those who care about you; Windey naturally has a supportive pal in her 'Bachelorette' season partner, Rachel Recchia, who is also single.

The duo confirmed they are ready to take the world by storm after Recchia posted a new photo of the twosome together via her Instagram story Friday night.

The 26-year-old, who memorably split with her top pick Tino Franco after a bumpy road to the altar involving doubtful parents and a short engagement, captioned the post "Back to the streets," according to Us Weekly!
