Aubrey Plaza & Boyfriend Jeff Baena Walk Their Dogs In California Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Over the weekend, Aubrey Plaza and her long-term boyfriend, Jeff Baena, were spotted enjoying some fresh air amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple sported matching cotton masks, while they walked their dogs in California.

The spotting is rare for the couple, who aren’t usually photographed together. Even though they’ve been dating for almost a decade.

Plaza, 35, is best known for her role in ‘Parks & Recreation.’ Baena is a screenwriter and film director. He’s best known for directing the 2014 movie ‘Life After Beth’ which starred Plaza.

The couple also worked together on the 2017 film ‘The Little Hours,’ and the 2016 film, ‘Joshy.’ Baena’s next film will be ‘Horse Girl’ which he wrote with Alison Brie.

And while the couple has made a habit of working together, they also do a lot separately.

‘So I think that can be really great. But, you know, working with your partner can always be challenging. There’s a lot of things we do separately and I think that it’s all about balance,’ Plaza toldPeople.

There’s no denying the two have a professional relationship.

In 2017, Plaza toldIndieWire, ‘I’ve been in every one of Jeff’s films. I’ve been there from the beginning of every idea because we’re together. We’re working on it even when we’re not working on it.’

That said, the couple isn’t too vocal when it comes to their romantic relationship. Although they currently live together in Los Angeles, not much is known about the two love-birds other then they started dating in 2011.

And according to Plaza, their relationship is successful because they’re both independent.

‘I think that one of the great things about our careers is that we are forced to be independent, take little breaks, go off and do our things and come back. So it’s kind of fun. Nothing is ever the same. You don’t want to spend too much time a part. But I think that there’s a way that it can work and there’s a balance in that,’ she explained.

And while they both have busy schedules, they understand what it takes to be in the industry.

Plaza revealed, ‘I think that when you’re with someone that is in your field, they understand what you’re dealing with on a deeper level. So obviously you are able to support each other and really understand kind of the journey that we’re both on.’

Due to the coronavirus, their projects have most likely been put on pause. In the meantime, the two can enjoy lot of quality time as they self-isolate together in their home
