Source Shares Jessica Biel's Feelings About Justin Timberlake Reconnecting With Britney Spears

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's relationship has been a constant fixture of media attention for quite some time now. The seemingly happy couple has been plagued with rumors of Timberlake's infidelity for quite some time. With this,​ virtually every comment and action that the singer makes towards other women now is hyper-analyzed by fans and other entities for hints of that alleged shady behavior, which is exactly what happened when the 'Sexyback' singer posted some kind words to ex Britney Spear's Instagram recently.

On April 15, Spears shared a video to her 24 million Instagram followers of her dancing to Timberlake's song 'Filthy' from his 2018 album 'Man of the Woods.'

"This is my version of Snapchat or TikTok or whatever the cool thing you’re supposed to do these days ????!!!!! As you can see I’m not really dancing folks …… I’m just very bored," the singer captioned the adorable video, which showcased a cut of scenes with her attempting to dance to Timberlake's hit song.

Spears then went on to mention her split from Timberlake, saying, "PS I know we had one of the world’s biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius !!!! Great song JT ✨ !!!! Pssss if you KNOW WHAT’S GOOD ? !!!!!!"

What was the most surprising part of the post was that Timberlake chose to actually respond to Spears' comment, posting a series of laughing faceand raised hand emojis underneath the video, garnering tens of thousands of likes.

Although Biel has not issued a statement regarding the interaction between her husband and his ex-girlfriend​, a source close to the actress told HollywoodLife on April 17 that she actually has no problem with the interaction occurring, saying it was "fun" to see them reconnect over their shared past.

"Jessica is totally cool with Justin and Britney’s back and forth on Instagram,” the source said, explaining Biel's feelings to the publication. “It was really fun to see people happy about their reconnection."

"Nothing is going to come from it romantically, Jess is just happy that she puts smiles on people’s faces in this time when smiles are all we need," the source added about the controversial interaction.

"Of course Justin has moved on from everything that went down between him and Britney and wishes her nothing but the best. So much time has passed and it’s all water under the bridge at this point. It was so long ago and they were kids and at many different points in their lives. He thought her post was hilarious and thought it was sweet for her to give him a shout out like that," the insider concluded.
