Former Miss Argentina And Miss Puerto Rico Tie The Knot In Secret Wedding

Former Miss Universe and Miss Grand International competitors Mariana Varela and Fabiola Valentín announced that they have tied the knot. Miss Argentina, Varela, and Miss Puerto Rico Valentin met each other in 2020 while representing their respective countries in the Miss Grand International, which was held two years ago.

They progressed to the top ten Beauty queens in the tournament; however, neither was crowned winner at the end of the event. Sparks flew after the meeting, and towards the end of the competition, the duo reportedly fell for each other.

Varela and Valentin's marriage announcement comes as a shock to several fans and people in the beauty industry; however, they were flooded with no small amount of congratulatory messages. They ranged from comments by fans and other beauty queens to a personal post made out to them by Miss Grand International 2020 winner and the organization itself.

Former Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico just tied the knot in a secret wedding. The duo met in 2020 while competing in that year's iteration of the Miss Grand International competition. While neither emerged winner, they seemed to have discovered the actual prize in each other.

Valera and Valentin's relationship had been on since they met two years ago. After conducting most of it in secret, the duo announced that they had tied the knot in a private ceremony on October 28. They posted a joint statement on their respective Instagram pages along with a video reel.

The Sunday post read, "After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day, 28/10/22."

The 30-second long clip the two beauty queens posted on Instagram showed moments in their romantic relationship they previously kept private. The first clip in the video showed them in bikinis together and sharing a peck on the cheek.

The rest showed the duo on several trips around the world together and in many cozy positions while on vacation. Their proposal was also shown along with the red balloons and rose petals displayed around their apartment. There were balloons that read "marry me" among the ensemble.

The final clip showed the beauty queens kissing outside of the Marriage Bureau. Valera and Valentin posted together in front of the courthouse while both had on white blazers. Fans were finally given a front-row seat to their romance after two years in the dark. They previously posted pictures of each other in snuggled-up positions; however, they maintained that they were merely friends.

The beauty Queens are known for their amazing looks and vast followings on their respective social media pages. Valentín was part of Puerto Rico's top three in the 2019 beauty pageant and competed in Miss Universe 2019.

Varroa, on her part, was crowned Miss Universe Argentina during the competition they held in 2019. She went on to earn the title of Miss Grand Argentina a year later. Varroa represented Argentina in the Miss Universe competition, which was held in 2020, where she had her chance to meet with Valentin, her wife.

Both beauty queens were part of the Miss Grand International pageant's top ten during the competition. They apparently grew close during the pageant and fell in love with each other at the final show.

Several fans and fellow beauty queens celebrated Varela and Valentin on their new union and took to Instagram to show it. The official Instagram page of the Miss Grand International was not left out as they posted congratulatory messages of their own.

On Sunday, the page shared a slideshow of pictures of the couple. The caption read, "Congratulations to both of you. MGIO always [supports] 'LOVE' without boundaries." Other beauty queens like Abena Appiah, the winner of the 2020 Miss Grand International beauty pageant.

She revealed that the newlyweds had met each other during the fateful competition. Valentin responded to the onslaught of well wishes on her Instagram stories and thanked everyone who wished them well. "How nice it is to read each message. Thank you all for your words and good wishes," she wrote.
