Singer Sam Smith just made a huge admission that may get them in a little bit of hot water...after they confessed to using 'poppers' with Nicole Scherzinger while out partying together last year. You have to hear this story!
On Friday, Smith appeared on Andy Cohen's radio show, 'Radio Andy' on Sirius XM and the 'Bravo' boss grilled them over a rumor Nicole and the singer were using the substance in a bar last year.
To ease the tension, Andy admitted, "Ya know I've talked about poppers. I feel like poppers have their place -- they're not illegal -- they can be a beautiful thing."

Shockingly, Sam laughed and responded to Cohen, "I feel bad. I can completely confirm I love poppers. I LOVE poppers. I've been ashamed to say that, but I have so much fun when I do poppers."
We should note, for those of you who don't know what a 'popper' is -- the term is slang for a popular drug 'alkyl nitrites' that are inhaled. The drug is commonly used recreationally drug purposes, causing a brief "high" or "rush."
Poppers were huge in the disco scene in the 1970s, and came back in the 1990s rave scene.

In the interview, Sam admitted they felt bad about doing poppers telling Andy, "I don't know. I guess some people would look at it and think that it's just not good. And I'm not trying to endorse it 'cause I know they're not good for you."
They continued, "I know they're not good for you. I mean, booze isn't go for you as well, right?"
At that point, Andy pressed Smith about doing poppers with Nicole Scherzinger in the bar last year, "I just love it that she was open enough that you were like 'Oh, you just have to try a hit of poppers.'"

In a stunning revelation, Sam admitted they had partied hard with the 'Pussy Cat Dolls' singer and explained to Cohen they didn't realize anyone could see them doing it!
"I think Nicole has definitely gone out to a fair amount of gay bars in her life. We've been out a few times in London," he began.
They continued, "But yeah, we were just out that one time. I honestly didn't think anyone could see us."
The singer ended his amazing story with this, "Yeah, we just got a bit rowdy and, yeah, it was fabulous."
Agreed!
