Viewers couldn't get enough of Netflix's "The Ultimatum!"

The reality series aimed to pick up right where "Love Is Blind" left off, challenging plenty of hardwired 'rules' and beliefs about relationships.

The premise of "The Ultimatum" followed couples who may or may not be destined to walk down the aisle, with one-half of the long-term duo more than ready to borrow 'something blue.' In order to solidify their relationship, the couples briefly break up and explore the oft-long-forgotten notion of dating other people!

Colby Kissinger and Madlyn Ballatori had been together for a year and a half before Kissinger issued an ultimatum for their relationship; he was ready to get married, while Ballatori felt a bit more nervous about the idea of committing herself to one person for the rest of their lives.

Ballatori formed a connection with fellow contestant Randall Griffin, and her excitement to explore it further inspired reactions from fans on social media (more on those later!)

In the end, the duo realized they were meant for one another and kickstarted married life!

Since "The Ultimatum''s first season wrapped, the duo became parents to a baby girl in May.

Looking Back On Mr. And Mrs. Kissinger's Relationship!

Viewers of "The Ultimatum" felt a little shook by Ballatori's desire to explore other relationships when her man seemed like he was already thinking about china patterns!

The Blast explored social media reactions to the couple's conflicting desires.

A Twitter user expressed their belief that the math wasn't 'mathing' about Ballatori's feelings.

"Okay, am i tripping??," their tweet read, "Madlyn went from being all up on Randall, to saying she doesn't want to be with Colby, to then saying yes and getting married the same day to now being 7 months pregnant???? Wtf happened?? Did i miss an episode?? Something ain't adding up..?"

Ballatori was also quite verbose about her hesitation over Kissinger's devotion to her. She would later discuss her feelings in interviews, taking responsibility and holding herself accountable for her on-camera comments.

"I look like such a jerk," Ballatori told Variety. "It shows my grievances, but not my appreciation. In hindsight, I was like, 'maybe I don't express those enough.'

Getting Out The Gratitude For His Girls: Colby Expresses His Love For His Wife And Daughter

Practicing gratitude isn't a new habit for Kissinger!

We covered some of his public statements about fatherhood and his love for Ballatori as she embraced motherhood. Both parents shared Instagram posts after their daughter, Josephine, was born.

The proud papa expressed his elation for parenthood on Instagram and in the media. In an interview with E!, Kissinger expressed how beside himself he felt after holding 'Josie' for the first time.

"[The rush is] Something that you can't really describe the feeling of just a new life coming into the world, especially when it is your own. It's just so special and a moment I'll never forget," he shared. (per The Blast)

He also expressed his excitement for mama and baby to bond, before her birth.

"They're going to be two little twins who will [be] troublemakers together..." Kissinger expressed. (via E!)

Months after Josie's birth and well into their first year of marriage, Kissinger's love and appreciation for his wife is as strong as ever!

"This is a reminder," Kissinger proclaimed in the beginning of his post. "Always be thankful, because in the beginning you started with nothing. Remember to count your blessings, but also remember not to take anything for granted. Remember to show appreciation to the ones who stick by your side and appreciate the little things they do that can easily go unnoticed. Do your best to push one another while knowing each other's limits. Be the first to say you are sorry and pick them up when they are down. Be more self aware and know when to put your pride aside #be2nd. Stay humble, kind and encourage your partner! Remember to lead with LOVE and don't dwell too much on what's already happened, but focus on what you can do to improve your situation..."
