Five months after iconic rapper Master P lost his beloved daughter Tytyana Miller, the cause of her tragic death has been revealed.

Late Tytyana was just 25 when she was snatched away from this world, and she was deeply loved and mourned by her beloved father, who continues to carry on her legacy.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed the cause of death to People Magazine. According to the publication, Tytyana passed away at a private residence due to fentanyl intoxication. Her death was ruled as an "accidental fentanyl overdose."

The late daughter of the "Grab da Wall" rapper was just 25 at the time of her demise on May 27. Her famous dad confirmed the heartbreaking news two days after in a touching post on social media. As The Blast reported, he took to Instagram to share a statement about his baby girl’s passing.

"Our family is dealing with overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana. We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve," the statement began. "We appreciate all of the prayers, love and support. Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this."

Tytyana’s brother Romeo also confirmed the devastating news while mourning his beloved sister. He shared a statement that read, "Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my little sister Tytyana. We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve."

Romeo, who is also a rapper, revealed that he was "forever grateful for the memories I did have with my amazing sister," before advising his fans to "Love on your loved ones, life is short." He concluded his message, writing, "The silver lining, I know she’s in a way better place and finally at peace and free. God Bless. -RM 😞🤍🕊."

Master P Described Daughter’s Death As 'My Own Funeral'

About two months after Tytyana’s passing, Master P, for the first time, spoke out about the devastating effect his daughter’s tragic demise had on him. As The Blast reported, the 52-year-old, during a sit-down with Gayle King, opened up about his grief and his daughter’s battle with addiction.

Speaking about the pain of losing a child, Master P said, "It’s hard. Coming from poverty, you would think that you would outlive your kids, and that was the mission. And I feel like, going to my daughter’s funeral, I went to my own funeral. I don’t even wanna go to no more funeral."

He recalled the heart-wrenching moment he received the news of Tytyana’s passing, describing it as "the worst call that a parent could get." Nevertheless, the award-winning artist promised that he would turn the pain of his loss into a passion for preserving his daughter’s legacy.

"I’m gonna turn my pain into passion, and I’m gonna turn it into a purpose because I can’t get my daughter back. I love her and think about her every day, and it took me and my family to go through something that I just can’t stop thinking about, but I realize that I have to get out here and help and save other kids."

The No Limit Records label owner also discussed his daughter’s battle with addiction and how she worked on getting clean before her passing. The late reality star was often candid about her substance addiction battle on "Growing Up Hip Hop."

"She was getting better…just got out of rehab, and she was on the right track. And the sad thing about it, you know she was getting herself like, I want to do something to help people," Master P revealed.

He shared that his baby girl was working on pursuing her dreams of going into politics and was even working on writing a book. Despite his immeasurable loss, Master P is hoping to save other families from such tragedy.

He even hinted at the cause of his daughter’s death, saying, "My thing is anybody that’s watching this, love your loved ones while they are here because once you walk out that door, you never know who is coming back. We look at mental illness and substance abuse — it’s serious and affects everyone. Just a little dose of fentanyl can take your life, and destroy a family."
