'Vanderpump Rules' Star Scheana Marie Defends Charli Burnett, Says There's More To Her Than What's Been Seen

Scheana Marie doesn't believe Vanderpump Rules viewers have gotten the gist of who Charli Burnett is as a person. During the latest episode of her podcast, Scheananigans, Scheana spoke to guest Kristen Doute about their new co-star and said that while she may have portrayed as someone with no depth, she actually has quite a story to tell.

Scheana then admitted to listeners that viewers of the Bravo reality series may not get to see Charli's complete story during season eight.

According to Scheana, she filmed quite a bit with Charli, who was initially introduced to viewers of Vanderpump Rules while being trained by Scheana as a waitress at SUR Restaurant.

“There are more things specifically about Charli that I know I’ve filmed and conversations I’ve had with her, which I don’t know what you’ll see or not see. We never do. But she’s actually been through a lot in her life and she does have a big story to tell," Scheana explained.

While Scheana told Kristen that there is a lot more to Charli than what viewers of Vanderpump Rules have seen thus far, she added that she wasn't sure how much of her story fans would see before the season's end.

"I just don’t know if you’re going to see much of it this season. So I do genuinely hope if there’s a season nine that she sticks around because she really has a lot more to her than what’s being shown," she shared.

Speaking to Kristen directly after Kristen took aim at Charli for failing to show emotion on the show, Scheana said, "I think if you actually knew the things I knew about her, you’d have more respect for her."

She also added, "I think she held back a lot because she didn’t know what she was doing."

In response, Kristen admitted that doesn't know Charli and the other new cast members as well as she should because she doesn't work alongside her at SUR Restaurant.

As fans of Vanderpump Rules saw earlier this season, Charli first got the attention of her cast mates and viewers of the series when she oddly announced that she had never tried pasta and suggested she didn't want to eat pasta because she believed it was what was making a lot of being fat.
