'DWTS' Pro Receives Backlash For Halloween Costume Choice

Celebrities shared their Halloween costumes this past weekend as they celebrated the spooky holiday. One star, however, is receiving backlash from fans after his costume choice.

"Dancing With the Stars" professional dancer Gleb Savchenko shared a photo of him and his girlfriend dressed up on Halloween, but fans were not impressed.

The "Dancing With the Star" pro shared a handful of photos of himself and his girlfriend Elena Belle to Instagram over the weekend as they dressed up in their Halloween costumes.

The couple went as a dead bride and groom as Savchenko wore white pants complete with a silver waistband and an open white vest. He also had a bullet wound on his forehead accompanied by fake blood.

Belle decided to wear white lace lingerie with thigh-high stockings and a veil. She also wore silver glitter high heels and also had a bullet hole in her head.

Although some of the comments were supportive and loved the costume choice, many others were not shy about how they felt about this year's Halloween costumes.

“Not a fan of this at all,” one fan commented on the post as another said “I’m thinking your ego has finally taken over. I’m cringing."

“Bad costume choice,” a third Instagram user chimed in.

Others aimed their comments towards Savchenko's girlfriend, saying, “That isn’t a Halloween costume it’s bedroom lingerie,” and another user writing, “She hot we get it, but she’s naked in 95%of her posts! I mean I guess if I looked like her I’d show my body off as well, but it make me think she’s all body and not much else."

Gleb Savchenko is currently competing on this season of “Dancing With the Stars” alongside celebrity partner Drag Queen Shangela. Last night, the pair earned their first perfect score of the season, marking them safe from elimination.

With only 8 couples left on this season of the reality dance show, the competition will come down to the wire. Here is a list of those remaining couples:

“America’s Next Top Model” host Tyra Banks and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” actor Alfonso Ribeiro are currently co-hosting the new season of “Dancing with the Stars”. Next week, "Dancing With the Stars" will host a 90s-themed night as the star and pros dance to some of the most iconic songs from the 1990s.

The reality competition show recently moved from its home of ABC to Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, and airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. ET. It is available to stream again the following day.
