Migos Rapper Takeoff Murdered At 28

Takeoff, one-third of the rap group Migos has been shot and killed in Houston shortly after 2:00 AM.

The “Versace” rapper, 28 was at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston allegedly playing a few games of dice. He was accompanied by his group member and uncle Quavo when the altercation broke out.

TMZ is reporting that shots were fired and the rapper was hit either hit in the head or near the head leading to a fatal wound. He was allegedly pronounced dead at the scene. In photos shared by TMZ Quavo can be seen in an orange shirt trying to help Takeoff.

Supposedly at one point, he and a few of their crew attempted to move the 28-year-old but had to put him back down.

While out at the Houston establishment, the rapper posted on his IG stories that he was there, it could be unrelated or it could be how whoever shot the rapper knew he was there if they happened to be targeting Takeoff.

It was also reported that two other people were shot and taken to the hospital in private vehicles. Their conditions are unknown as well as how they relate to the shooting.

As we mentioned, Quavo was with Takeoff and the “Bad and Boujee” rappers were enjoying a night out, Quavo was unharmed and spent most of his time comforting his nephew. Takeoff And Quavo just released new music earlier that day, the duo released their new project together; a song titled “Messy”  under their new moniker, Unc & Phew. The video for the song poked fun at Quavo’s elevator battle with Saweetie. Overall, it had that comical tone that most Migos music videos have.

Desiigner went live in tears sharing that he is done with rap after losing another artist “I can’t live like this no more” he says through tears. Takeoff’s death comes shortly after PnB Rock was gunned down while eating with his girlfriend.
